Hi there I’ve been looking forward to watching my replays after the races but I’m disappointed that there is no TV style replays. Is there any reason for this.
Just an observation but is there no ‘TV’ replay camera like previous Forza games?
Yes, that option s not available. It wasn’t available in Forza Horizon 1. The reasoning is that there are so many possible places it could be, unlike the fixed points of a race track that it was removed.

Forza Horizon 1 did have a ‘replay mode’ by which the game would switch between the available camera positions but that has been removed as well.
There is a replay mode. If you use rewind it allows for a reply. There are other methods that were described in a photography thread before all the subforums were created, but I didn’t pay too much attention since it didn’t interest me as much as other aspects of the game. I find the replay fun and useful in Motorsport, but in Horizon the value isn’t there as much for me.
Forza Horizon 1 did not have the cinematic replays that the Forza series, and car Sims in general, are known for.
You could switch between a variety of camera types and angles, but if I recall correctly, they were all fixed to your car.
Just like Horizon 2.
PPiDrive has it right. There are just too many places that cameras would have had to be positioned to have cinematic fixed camera style replays.
I had posted on a wishlist that this would be an awesome opportunity for a community based idea. For each race, let everyone place cameras for a replay. Then the replay camera sets could be voted on etc etc just like liveries and builds.
That sounds like a lot of work that not a lot of people would use.
I have been hoping & asking for a replay editor since Forza 2 … I certainly would use it. 
The Forza series is so strong on user content, tuning, painting, photography, heading towards video editing feels almost logical imo.
In general, yes the big worlds on Horizon make it harder for the Devs to add proper replays, but it`s not impossible.
I think the problem is rather that the replay system on Forza has never really been updated, it seems they still use an old system for cameras which is probably hard to handle and not very flexible.
Actually I always hope for Playground Games to care about it, since they are the ones with the more dire need for it.
I don’t know. People who really like replays would probably dive into it just as readily as people who put in hour after hour creating amazing liveries.
Be nice if when watching a replay it just randomised the cameras that are already available.
