The Isotta Fraschini is a rebirth of the once great brand and their attempt and the new LMP1 class replacement Hypercar in the WEC. The Tipo 6 LMH is power by a 670hp V6 with a hybrid system. It is expected to start racing this year during round 5 of the WEC at Monza operated by Vector Sport.
It will be joined by 2 cars from the manufacturer. The Tipo 6S which is a long tail road legal variant and the Tipo 6 Pista a customer full power non restricted LMH for private non competitive use only
While watching Isotta Fraschini develop and test the car, I can say for sure that I am very invested as to how this car will perform next year for WEC, I think this car once its in its full WEC Livery next year will make an amazing addition for the new Forza Proto-H category.
With the Isotta Fraschini Tipo 6 LMH-C withdrawn from the remainder of the WEC season with immediate effect, ending the partnership with Duqueine plus the brand’s reconstruction in Motorsports again opens the door taking advantage of adding it here of Forza Motorsport in bid of honor and another potion of radiated LMH taste in Forza Proto-H!
It would be great if T10 gave us the IF LMH, Glickenhaus SCG007 LMH and the Vanwall Vandervall 680 LMH since all three no longer race but being in a game would give them the exposure they barely had. It would also greatly boost Forza Proto-H class. I would imagine getting those to be licensed in a game would be far easier than stubborn Toyotas GR010, Peugeot’s 9x8, and Ferraris 499p.
I’d cautiously be aware and careful what anyone describes about the 499P if I were you! (which furthermore definitely makes sense for Marenello’s finest LMH to appear) no matter the method gives them all the contribution at best.)
Here’s an Onboard of the Tipo 6 LMH during the 2024 Le Man Qualifying session. Honestly I believe of all the small manufacturer Prototypes, I think this one has the most potential to compete against the bigger manufacturers and it would be awesome to have this car in the game.
Maybe on here we may be the few who can agree on this topic and I truly do believe that we should definitely have this amazing art to be part of the Forza Proto H roster on Forza Motorsport. This vehicle itself despite not having the pace as well as funding like the other factory efforts has proven to be one of the unique yet interesting Hypercars to date. From reviving a long dead brand to then first making your presence at the World stage of Le Mans, I have to say that the Tipo 6 LMH Competizione is a remarkable car that personafies the possibilities of what LMH can bring to the table for not only Giants of the automotive industry, but also more exclusive lesser known boutique brands such as Isotta Fraschini as well as being so far the only Boutique made Hypercar to date to have passed the reliability factor for Le Mans where as neither Vanwall or Glickenhaus managed to have within their first year. Plus it’s well suited to compete in a grid where many of the competitors utilize Hybrid technology and despite not competing in top 10 can still keep up in constant pace. It’s rather unfortunate that the team no longer had the funds to finish racing in the 2024 season as well as agreement issues with well established teams to operate the vehicle. Hopefully soon Isotta can return to the WEC with a 2 car program as well as with a stronger team to operate because this is definitely one contender that should not be overlooked only to be lost in time. It may not have won any races but it definitely should be recognized for its efforts to take on the most prestigious endurance race in history and surviving to the end without issue and should definitely be part of Forza Motorsport so that many can learn and love this fine beauty of a machine. Please do vote for this car as well to appear in the Forza Proto H division.
The Lamborghini SC63 is going down a similar path. I would be shocked if they make it to next season in IMSA. But I agree, the lesser of the Hypercars like this, the Glickenhaus and the Vanwall should be represented in this game.
