especially if you have and played the heck outta 4?
i’ve been bouncing around the idea of jumping on 3. I know the auction and storefront are closed, but if you get the disk with most of the DLC will you be able to still install it?

If you are reasonably mature and not a hothead, I sincerely wish you would start racing on Forza Three. I know many people are upset about the one server which is unavailable (I’m certainly not happy about it), and I know many more have moved on to the Xbox One. I have friends who are still enthusiastic Forza Four fans, and I have a tough time convincing them to put their FM3 disc in the 360 once in awhile.
I’m racing against the AI cars every day. Almost every time I get in an online race with (human) strangers it turns into chaos sooner or later. The issue of wreckers has been brought up in at least one other thread, but I’m weary of the soreheads, the nonstop yakkers, and the guys who want to drift in the middle of a circuit race!
One more rant, then I’m done. At what point did it become acceptable to bring a party of your buddies into a race if they have no interest in that race? I’ve been in that situation when a bunch of friends were chattering about GTA5 when the rest of us were trying to race around Viejo Extreme. When I muted the distracting chatter, I angered these boneheads.
Anyway, if you start playing Three, let’s race!
Since I wrote those words,
(a) Forza 3 is back up & better than ever (minus the DLC), and
(b) Forza 4 is losing more and more players to the XBOne, and to non-racing games, and the DLC is no longer available
I have been promoting the Forza 4 Racer’s Lounge forum every chance I get.
One of the events I’m hoping to start is a combined online lobby + challenge series using both Forza Three and Four.
This would cherry-pick some of the tracks which are best features of one game and not available in the other.
The great thing about the challenge-type competitions is that you don’t have to be able to join an online lobby on a certain date, at a certain time. You simply follow the rules (type of car, bhp or PI limits, etc.), go on the track at your convenience and post results. Many kinds of prizes are offered. Racers also post pictures of their cars (optional) and there have been additional prizes for the most exciting replay, best livery, and more.
If you haven’t tried these, at least read the FM4 racers lounge threads and check it out.
If you have an interest in the FM3+FN4 idea, let me hear from you in that thread.
I would also be interested in challenges in FM3!
If you like the serie you will enjoy getting back to the game.
Most of the things are still up and available, so don’t worry about it.
Is there any way to get the Porsche 997 GT 3RS for Forza 3?
I have all the forza games on 360 and 3 has some very interesting/enjoyable tracks , i would recommend it.
Bought it a month ago, off eBay, loving it.
That certainly is worth it one of the best of forza series…
Be sure to get and play this game ![]()
Every Forza game is worth purchasing
i would get it if i had plenty of time to kill and wanted to increase my forza hub tier level… i wish i could get the 1 dlc for foza 3 and i would almost have it at 100% also
oh and if you happen to have 3 xbox360’s, 3 copies of forza 3, and three tv’s you can run multi display and have pretty good view
