Is it a known issue that the Honda RA300 does not appear in "Legends of Grand Prix"

Apologies if this has been mentioned before. I tried searching but it kept returning an error.

Whenever I go to Free Play and select “Legends of Grand Prix” I can choose any of the 5 cars from that category. However if you pick anything other than the Honda it does not appear at all. If you pick the Honda every single car on the grid is the RA300. It’s almost like there are two separate divisions under the same name.

Is this a known bug? Will it be addressed in a future patch?

Thanks

That must have something to do with it being a DLC car and not being built into the original grids for the game…?

I just played this in career mode, the Honda was showing up on the grid.

All the other DLC cars appear alongside the base game cars in their respective divisions.

Hmm. Must only be a Free Play issue. Have experienced this multiple times on various circuits with the same results.

I just ran a ten lap race at Monza in Free Mode last night with the Brabham. I had it set on Legends of Grand Prix, and there were 4 Hondas in the race.

Okay so I just tried this, 10 laps of Monza, driving the Brabham and no Hondas. I then tried again picking the Honda and the whole grid was RA300s.

So the next question is what is wrong with my game specifically and how can I fix it?

Freeplay is screwed in this regard. Some of the short career events will pick up the dlc cars, but freeplay wont. For example, R class will give you half a grid of just chevy nascars. There are countless issues with the ways are put into their division, which is why the ‘why can’t we pick drivatatars’ thread is so long. It’s a shame really. I wouldn’t expect any changes soon, as it these issues have been identified a looooooong time ago.

Alright, thanks for the confirmation. I can only hope that Turn 10 finally makes an effort to improve Free Play. The features we want are already implemented elsewhere. It makes me sigh.
