Invalid data

So I spent a coyote of hours working on a logo, and another hour or so the next day, then after saving it and exiting next time I load it up it’s just showing “invalid data” and the work is gone. That’s annoying so I started work on another design, finished it and began putting a car together with a bunch of other shapes and the vinyl I just finished and now today I load up again and it’s “invalid data” again, the car is blank missing the paint and all the vinyl I applied, aaagh!

What’s causing this and how can I get the work back? There’s over 4 hours gone down the pan already with this? I’ve raised a ticket but had no response

Sounds like a Hard Drive error.

No it’s not, it was internet connection issue, I don’t know if it was on the server side or on my side.

No I don’t think you can’t get it back, that’s also happened to me about few weeks ago, it started one work and then another one then another one, and I can’t even delete it until I erased it from the current car for wrap design.

Unless you previously saved your wrap design from your current car to vinyl design as a group, then it’s gone, you have to restart from scratch.

The next thing I know on the next day, I’m having invalid profile Error E:47-0

I’m on PC, the mistake I made was I didn’t backup the local saves files (located at C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.SunriseBaseGame_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs folders) before resetting the game so it would sync to the server when the game relaunched, I thought the saves on the server was safe so I re-sync the game, but then I found out that the saves on the server were also corrupted. I didn’t have the chance to try it with my SSD local saves in offline mode because it’s already gone as I reset it from the setting Win 10 menu, so I can’t really tell if both were corrupted or just the ones located at the game server.

Fortunately I made image backup for my Win 10 installation including all my games in January, so I restored my Win 10 and FH4 to January, then update the game to the current version, then restore my profile from January and it worked, the bad side was that I lost some rare cars and game progress and went back to level 81 (from 249), but the good side was, all my shared and private wrap designs and vinyls liveries were safe to the latest ones after re-syncing my January profile to the game server…

I still don’t know what the cause was, was it from the game connection quality or from my ISP, but to my understanding it was not caused by my ISP, because I tested it and all my internet activities were just fine.

So If you still having this invalid data problem, I’d suggest to backup your Win 10 and all your games so you don’t have to re-download them again, or at least back up your saves from the “wgs” folder manually, and then just paste them back… just in case after this you also experiencing invalid profile Error E:47-0 issue…

Sorry for repeated posting, I thought it was a Forum Error as reported when I hit post to reply, I try several times going back and forth and it didn’t work, and then last time I hit try again, this happened.
