I have about 14 BMW M4 FE’s, 12 or 13 of which I obviously purchased thru the AH. I wanted to part with a few of them and I get the “Invalid Auction Listing” on each and every one of them. I tried another car to see if it was glitch and apart from it took the wrong paint job with it I managed to put it up for sale. Any clue team?

I have also noticed this . From a couple of months back now , it seems that all FE cars are not allowed to be auctioned . They were before but I believe it has been blocked.
I have tried to auction off any duplicate FE cars and got the same thing. You could be fore as I did with a couple I had.
You will have to sell them back to the game ( 100 credits each )
Seems a shame as these are locked cars and if people cant get them from career , forzathon , leagues and bounty hunter events ( maybe because they missed the event or they couldnt get a good enough score) then why cant they buy them in AH ? They may be expensive but if a player has the credits and wants to spend them then its their choice ? Why should that be denied ?
I dont know of any glitch or other reason why these cars cannot be auctioned anymore
Weird. I just happened to notice I had an extra FE 2017 Camaro last week and sold it on the AH with no problem. It is perhaps notable that I didn’t have a custom livery on it.
Tried 6, 3 of which were standard issue livery and no go. Basically blocked from selling via auction and as ERT Tim mentioned I am offered a measly 100 CR to sell back to the game as only option to remove them.
Well, I just recently sold an extra Acura NSX FE, too. However, both the remaining FE Camaro and NSX in my garage can’t be posted to auction. Prior to this thread, I’d assume that had something to do with how they were acquired (which I absolutely don’t recall).
Thanks for the info. I guess I am stuck with about 50 - 60 cars then because I did same with the M3 FE etc. Not to mention the hours spent duplicating Liqui Moly liveries and others to suit with the aim of selling thru the AH. I agree with all you have said in regard to the other cars since I hardly get time to even open the game these days it would be better if I could buy the cars I couldn’t get. I think I have opened the game for the last time as it just seems to be getting worse IMO and just seem to hit one brick wall after another.
is this confirmed anywhere? i have only sold a handfull of cars at the AH as it doesnt seem to get much use like it used to but i just sold a FE car the other day, mind it was one from the VIP pack, one of those i can buy myself ingame over and over.

I used Ram Runner FE to investigate the cause of this error.
Ram obtained with VIP Crate can’t be sold at AH. But when I purchased it with a car dealer, I was able to sell it.
This message annoys us.
Last night I was planning to purchase Monte Carlo FE from my friend, but this message was displayed…
BMW M4 was a VIP car from memory and I think the VIP stuff up at the start we were gifted another one so the gifted one I can understand if not being able to sell as normal thru AH. I would have paid 200’000 CR for the rest of them via the AH before I discovered you could get them in the Car Collection as required so it is a bit of a hit. It just seems like the goal posts were shifted again since the last update.
I guess at least with the Monte Carlo @ 100 CR I would get 100% resale value back.
Last couple of times I found them on the AH the bidding was at 10+ million, which is way above my pay grade.
I have over 20 FE cars I cant auction.
All gotten through lvl up rewards.
LU 1023 got the now multi million dollar Monte and a 90s Mustang from memory via LU and the other FE’s were via VIP or the Career. I think they must have changed the format of how you obtain the cars.
Interestingly, just looked - don’t look at the AH very often but there are currently 9 of these (BMW 2014 M4 FE) that I can see. So the car is auctionable under the right circumstances.
I have a spare one, which I bought from the dealer I believe, tried to put this up for auction and received the invalid auction listing message. Tried a couple of different variables, starting price, length of auction. Starting it from within the AH or my garage and no go each time. Too many variables to check & it could just be a server issue at the end of the day, so not going to spend ages on it.
But looks like some people can still list the car, so unless it’s a pc/ xbox thing (I’m on xbox one X) I don’t think they’ve intentionally made it so you can’t auction the car.

@DamMe2006 I hope so because as it stands I would have paid 200’000 CR each for these add the design and was happy to get 200’000 back not 2000 CR for all.

I’ve been getting Invalid Auction Listing on pretty much any car that I try to put on the auction house, even some just normal base game cars and cars that I have put up in the auction house in the past as well.
Trying to list a 2012 GTR black edition FE and I’m getting this error, I see two others up for sale at the time of posting, and I just listed and sold a Merc C63 FE…
I bought from the auction house a bunch of cars for the 700 cars achievement. When i tried to sell them it say invalid sale. I am stuck with :

Change the price and hours from the auction settings
I don’t understand how someone was able to sell them to me and i can’t sell them back, now i am stuck with 100 cars i need to sell for 100 cr
