Input wheel axis overriding button assignment

So, basically when I try to assign a button, it instantly detects my wheel’s axis. This makes me unable to assign any buttons, as there the prompt immidiatly goes away having assigned my wheel’s axis.

I have got the DD1 fanatec wheel. This means there is no deadzone or anything (might be of help for you). Without the wheel plugged in it does my heusinkveld pro pedals just as it needs to, but when I turn on my wheel, it always nstantly changes the button to my wheel axis in the prompt.

After 2 months without reply, here are some updates.

I just tried the compatibility mode V2.5 and it still does it.

[ Solved for DD wheels here] Fix here for me was turn the DD wheel to Comp mode and all works fine. I am using separate peddles also with no issues. Hope this help all.
