I was banned today on Forza 6 from online play but was given no explanation as to why and received just the standard automatic response from Turn 10 telling me to refer to the Term of Service (which part!? What did I violate?!) I’ve been competing in the online leagues for the last 2 weeks but I never use my chat headset during racing and have learned my lesson about getting into message arguments with people from getting banned by Xbox enforcement team a couple times over heated arguments. I realize that purposely wrecking people has gotten other people banned, but I do not participate in this. Yes I drive aggressively, cuz that’s the point of the game, but I try very hard not to wreck other players if at all possible. I realize this isn’t the place to discuss bans, but I have failed to find or be provided with any information anywhere else.
Driving aggressively is fine, unless you step over the line. The point of the game is using skill and the proper adhering to the racing rules, which you failed to do with unsportsmanlike conduct by intentionally wrecking other participants in violation of the Xbox Live Code of Conduct.
Neither bans nor the enforcement of the regulations by Turn 10 employees are discussed on these forums. Since you’ve already sent an email to Turn 10, your initial seven-day (168-hour) ban will probably expired prior to receiving a response. Sending an additional email would be fruitless.
