@Lethal - Thanks! I’m really pleased with the background of that shot.
@Aces - I appreciate it. I wouldn’t say anyone downgrades, as all experience is good, whether the photos are perfect or lacking. I remember when I started, I used to look up to guys like Bushido, who would still blow me out of the water any day.
@Apparently God - Thanks mate! You’re definitely up there with the best of em, no downgrades here!
This set is inspired by a youtube channel, Expedition Overland. I watched every single episode in a span of a week, and really got me thinking. I love to go on an adventure of my own, but everyday life with work and commitments really make that difficult, and I’m sure it’s the same story for most people. I think I personally get my fill from video games, exploring open worlds with no real purpose, just to look around and see what I can find.
Fantastic set again iHomie.
There’s definitely an adventurer’s spirit inside of me, but as you say, family life(gotta love em) and work come first.
I’ll travel more when the kid’s have flown the nest(or been shoved) and if there’s any money left!
All exceptional shots, I really like the foliage and the branch standing out, along with the land Rover in this one,
Looks like I’m a bit late to this fantastic update
The third and fourth shots are my favorite. I love your use of aperture and exposure throughout the set. All of your shots have a great adventurous and happy-go-lucky feel to them!
Outstanding work Homie. The GTO shots are my favorite, particularly the wheel shot. I love how clean and simple they are. I agree - sometimes a black-and-white update is needed, to "cleanse the pallate’ if you will.
