I want a Nissan GT-R 2020 Nismo

So i been playing this game for about 150 hours now. I have nearly 700 million worth of cars. I dont have the one i want. Is there any way i can get my hands on the Nismo GTR?

It will probably show up in the playlist again, eventually.

thats what i was hoping for but “eventually” became almost a year and im wondering if theres another way

I think it pops up in the auction house every now and then. But I also would expect it to sell extremely fast, especially after the recent moneyglitch.

so basically theres next to zero chance to auction it and all im left with it HOPING someday they decide to put it on a season??

So many cars have been recycled through the playlist i guess they forgot about this bad boi

Keep checking the Auction House, one will pop up eventually

do you have any tips for the auction house searching?

Not really. I just search for a car, go back and search again to make sure the search is refreshed. Just keep checking the car regularly. One will pop up eventually. That’s how I collected all the cars in FH4. I have multiple of the rarest cars there

What platform are you playing on?

I was curious of actual availability after reading this, so I checked the AH & I can confirm they are pretty rare from what I have seen. I managed to actually find a couple for sale after a while & successfully bought them. If you are still looking for one, just message me & can attempt to sell you one.

i’m on PC / Steam

would totally give you some credits for one if thats possible

We tried, but unfortunately others were faster & got both cars. This is proving to be one of the more rare cars in the game at this point, which I didn’t realize. For anyone else trying, it’s literally grinding the AH at this point to find one. It took me a while to get the two mentioned above but they are being sold occasionally.

As to the question of tips for catching one:
-set your “Max Buyout” for the limit you are prepared to spend
-always select “Auction Options” when it shows available rather than selecting the auction itself (this is “Y” for those on console by default)
-select the second option “Buy out” & then again to confirm
-speed is key obviously & Internet speed also can play a part.

Other than that, it’s literally just the grind. I tried again earlier & it took me quite a while to find one (vid link below)

Good luck!

There are many cars that appeared only once (RS7, RS4, ATS GT, California T, Berlinetta Lusso, AMG GT S, Cooper S FE, Sentra Nismo …)
In FH4, with almost each festival race you got a rare car. They often came back 3 or 4 months after their initial release. And they also came back as super 7 prizes, ranked multiplayer monthly prizes, horizon backstage and forzathon shop. There were a few exceptions though (812 Superfast).
In FH5, festival races and super 7 give you crap cars, and forzathon shop focus mainly on expensive cars you can buy in autoshop.

I’m still looking for a Cali T. Not been any in the AH. I check every time I play!

It’s in the next series.

O ho! Sounds like it’s time to sell!

They’re cheap since reset, low volume.
‘08 M3 still 1.1-10M despite being 80 in AS. COPO 228k in AS, was up to 2.2M pre reset. Down to 500k now. Stupid.

Low volume can create an artificial feel of scarcity, which is handy for the legendary tuner/painters because then it’s not as obvious that they’re marked up if there’s nothing to compare it to (and the assumed markup for “rarity”)

Volume drives prices up/down on AH, if working correctly.
If price low, but demand high, price creep happens.
Plus the “artists” that list 5-12 of same car, with same livery that’s available free, all for 20M.
If they’re good, or original, great.
But reset changed market.
LaFerraris were limited to 2M or so. Rare, but limited.
Few sold. Now, they’re floating higher.
Rare stuff should be more available imo.
I’d guess looking at rarity on AH should drive availability.
Then again, that’d require effort. #notgonnahappen

Yeah, the Cali T sold for 20 mil within a couple minutes. I don’t sell bunches of cars because I don’t have bunches of extras. I just tend to sell cars that will become duplicates prior to them becoming seasonals. Sell high, get free back. I haven’t played with it much, but I’ve had good success selling cars like the Cali T where there’s no others in the list.
