Honestly, I didn’t know, wasn’t aware of or been told that there was this 2021 “Celebrate 20 Years of Halo” event in Halo: The Master Chief Collection that had Xbox-themed nameplates to unlock at that time ago. I mean, I didn’t play Halo MCC again since 2019 that I last did, until THIS year 2024, and because of that… When I started playing online multiplayer, someone had those really cool Original Xbox nameplates that I have not seen before, and it made me think, “What?! How do I get them? They look really cool and desirable!” And when I researched online, via Halopedia for a list of unlockable nameplates, it said they were gotten in 2021 as part of a “limited-time-only” event. This is the screenshot I snipped, showing the Xbox nameplates in Halo MCC:
…But oh sure, I TRIED all I can to get these nameplates in some other way, even someone on Discord told me that they believe it’s “season-based”, but when I attempted this yesterday and today, there STILL wasn’t an Xbox nameplate anywhere showing up when I checked back in the list. So now I feel, great, all my fault for not taking part in 2021, even though HOW was “I” supposed to know? -_-’ >:/
However, I’ve been wondering alternatively… Shouldn’t I convert/transfer Halo MCC from my Xbox One console to my PC, and download a mod that unlocks ALL customisation features? SORRY if that doesn’t sound “legitimate”, downloading a mod just to get the stuff I deeply desire and want, but see “MY” position of problems rather - I’m feeling very upset about this that I just can’t get those otherwise cool Xbox nameplates to use and have others to see, especially the “Original Xbox” ones since I’ve always been a huge fan of the first gen Xbox console because it’s magical, brilliant and nostalgic.
(Don’t ignore this, plz… Give me help/answer…)
