Hi. I really enjoy painting in Forza and people tell me I’m pretty good. Other than my gallery how can I post my favorite paints onto these forums? I’m working on a design right now by request from Cudafish1966 and would love to post it here when its done. While a lot of my designs are pretty generic, when I focus on a project I find worthwhile I find the results can be pretty amazing as is evident from the great works of art produced by many of you here. So I would like to know how to share my favorites here and see what you guys think. I’m not very computer savvy so I need someone to walk me through the steps in the simplest of terms. Also is it possible to post a pic from the decal editor and not just on the car?

I’ve been cruisin and racin a bit with Cuda as well, and he does talk about your painting skills!! I love making paintjobs, I would spend ALOT of time listening to my music (cant wait for a console lets you listen to you music on the one like the 360) and painting for hours and hours. I’m not anywhere near the best, but also would love to learn how to post them on hear. I know it has something to do with your gallery in the game and the gallery in the forums. Just dont know how to the whole posting pics thing. But I’m old. I’m not wise in the ways of such things.
First hover over the community tab on here,go to your gallery,click on the photo you want and download it and save to your computer.
Now go and create either a flickr or photobucket account and upload the photos you want to it…I use photobucket so your next step on there is resize your photo (cant remember what dimensions but i think its something like 640x480)
Next step is to copy the image file off photobucket/flicker and paste it straight into your post on here…Hope that helps a bit.

There is a much easier way to do this now. as the way shadow mentioned is the old way. What you do when creating your thread on the forum, open a second tab and go to your gallery. Copy the URL ( the thing that say http://www.gallery.forzamotorsports.net/etc) of the picture. You have to be in picture view not just of your gallery. Once this is done you wll see a insert image and it will ask for the URL of the picture you want for example the URL for this picture is Forza.net: The official website of the Forza franchise
That’s a bad way to post pics. If you remove the pic from your FM.net gallery it’ll disappear from the forums too. If you host the pic on a website like Flickr you can remove the pic from your FM.net gallery without it affecting the pic on the forums.
For example, I’ll post several pics of a paint job I made, but I’ll end up removing the pics from my FM.net gallery shortly after uploading them so I can upload pics of my next paint job. Because I host all of my pics on Flickr I can not only resize and embed pics with one or two clicks, I can also remove the pics from my FM.net gallery while still having the pics show up on the forums.
Why would I remove the pics from my forza gallery? The space is not limited anymore as far as I know. Why do I need to transfer to flickr if I am not deleting the picture off FM.net? It just seems like more work that is unnecessary. Also its neatly organized by game so I dnt see why not.
There is a limit to how many photos you can take/share on Forza Horizon 2.
Flickr is the best way to host.
I’m just going off of my FM4 experience, I don’t have an X1 yet. I assumed there was a limit to how many photos you could have on the server at one time. If there’s no limit, then sure, just embed the pic from the FM.net gallery. If there is a limit then Flickr would be the best route.
