I just realized what makes the Forza Horizon 5 map so odd

For some reason I always thought that the Horizon 5 map was a bit off. Something doesn’t feel right about it. I’m not talking about the design or environment but something else, I didn’t know what it was. But it just hit me; there are no traffic lights! I don’t recall ever seeing one, even in Guanajuato. That’s why it feels so empty and unrealistic. Horizon 4 felt a bit real and realistic because it looked properly filled with props and stuff. But Horizon 5 is lacking these traffic lights which is quite a detail. It makes the whole map feel so weird. Now I’ve never been to Mexico but I don’t think that they don’t have traffic lights there, do they?

I really wish they could update the map with all these missing props but I don’t think that will happen anymore because the game is considered finished and I think it would require too much work to adjust the traffic AI to react properly to traffic lights. Although they did manage to do it in Horizon 3 and 4 and I believe 1 and 2 as well so why not 5???

Now I get the feeling the traffic lights at the drag strip were removed so we won’t notice this. :speak_no_evil:

There was draglights in the pre release but they removed them bec for some reason they wasent able to synk the lights to all players in session. I guess thats why there is no other props that need the same kind of synk

So, if Playground added traffic lights, the 10 out of 10 from IGN is suddenly deserved?

But the real question is would the AI acknowledge they exist?

Doesn’t matter even in fh4 they just stayed on green all the time but they do add to the immersion
