Ah yes, the 1st Hyundai Starex…
Hyundai made a large-size Minivan, as they took the reference from the Mitsubishi Delica’s 4th-gen model. It was in relation as well, according to Wikipedia.
The only thing I know about the Starex is that it gained a lot of popularity across my country, the Philippines. Majority of them were only available in 2.5 CRDI Diesel engine as the only engine option, that produces 141HP and 360Nm of Torque. As I didn’t know the rest of the other countries, which had Gas engine options, it’s even available in either 4-speed Automatic or 5-speed Manual.
My family had one IRL, as I get to ride it during my childhood days, it’s primarily driven by my father. It’s the facelift model from 2005-2007 as I would assume of it as a 2005 model year. In around 2019, he traded it to a 2nd-gen Starex, in which I didn’t know this was going to happen. Amongst to one of my family’s personal vehicles, it’s a real shame that I never got behind the wheel on the old Starex, because I was way younger these days, but I never want to get mad over it for long as I want to be alright with the new one.
Some other Starex colors like this one here, Green, it may have those factory vinyls on the Driver and Passenger doors. Mine doesn’t have that.
Although, the only personal color of my Starex is silver. It’s like the image of our road-trip machine, as it would sound like that this will make my whole life if there would be an opportunity for this Starex to appear in a driving/racing game like Forza.
