Adding sharpness to photos, and removing the watermark, does not make them hyper-realistic.

Anyone with real knowledge in photography would see that theres more done than adding sharpness. Which btw is only 15% so try again. Take your negativity some where else kid.

Then don’t ask for opinions. I know what else you did. Raised Clarity, softened the overall photo with an unsharpen mask, etc.
When you edit a photo that wasn’t realistic in the first place, it doesn’t add to the photo, it detracts from it.
And when you call people a kid, make sure they aren’t known for being one of the best photo editors that Forza has.
Otherwise, defend yourself with photos, not words.

That I am noticing too like I see that is similar to Forza but looks real so no thanks
You think you know what all I did but you have everything wrong. I did not soften the image, did a lot more than just used sharpness and it was only 15%. Also do not say you know what I did and say “etc.”. That just shows you’re doing nothing but talking out of your behind.
Also if I choose to address you as the kid you are then I shall. I stated opinions are welcomed, never asked for them. I surely did not ask for negative ones either! I couldn’t give a left butt cheek if you are a self claimed “best Forza photo editors”. I can say that I am one of the best, my biggest Forza photography Instagram handle has over 44K followers. Forty-four thousand people support my work, the second largest dedicated Forza Instagram account only passed by Forza Motorsport Official Instagram.

I’ll respect you more for moving forward, rather than letting my unbiased opinion of “HYPER-REALISM”, get the better of me.
There is a “REALISTIC” Photo thread here already… maybe try some realistic photos first… then Jump to “HYPER”.
If you want to see HYPER Realism… Go look at BrokenVegetable’s thread, Pebb’s Thread, in fact, just go look at the photocomps.
Here is a hint… If you look back starting with Forza 2… and look at winners of the photo competitions, you will see a recurring theme… There were probably 20 people that seemed to win most of them.
If you look at the photo gallery threads here, you will notice that they have THOUSANDS of views. The reason is, because the cross the threshold into what the average person thinks is realistic, confusing people when they see the Forza Watermark.
If you think I don’t know what you did to your photos, you are wrong. I know exactly what stuff you did to them, and I DON’T do them, specifically because it makes them worse than the original.
If you want tips, ask… Don’t tell me what you did wrong… you can figure it out.
If you dig deep enough, you might even find my tutorials, on what NOT to do, and how to squeeze extra realism out of Video game Photo modes.

Yeah I mean some more pictures in this picture thread would be cool.
I have to say that I was a little underwhelmed by the first ones posted. Maybe I expected a bit too much from the hyper-realistic thread title. I dunno but more pics would be good.

Yeah like I am seeing it is on Forza but looks like he edit it on photoshop and game at same time to make it real for me

He is one of the best Forzatographers. Is that better?
FYI, Self-proclaiming is okay when it’s been earned. You are new with a self-proclaimed attitude towards your photo’s and edited your photo’s outside of the game. Now we like creativity and respect all forms. But when you self-proclaim your shots to be “hyper-realistic” expect to be criticized when they are actually not that realistic. Had you just started in your thread showing off your edited photo’s without glorifying them, this whole thread would have a different tone.
A little sample from my Forza 3 shots (unedited), and it’s not even a photo from my one of many photo comp wins.
P.S. I do hope you stick around, just have some humility.
I looked through your gallery Khalil, and you have some great stuff in there.
To be honest, I’m impressed with your UN-EDITED Stuff.
If you want to try this again, let people know that you are LEARNING how to edit, and TELL people what you do to your photos.
Don’t make people decipher the EXIF file, to see that you edited it in Lightroom, BEFORE you edited it in Photoshop.
And if you want tips on how to HDR, Ask me. I have time.

Entering a community with arrogance and disrespect is not a great look. You have a nice editing style, but that doesn’t give you licence to be rude to other people, and you have to understand that coming out with claims of “hyper realism” and of being “one of the best photographers” is going to put you under intense scrutiny from other well-known photographers who also produce realistic work. We’re not simply going to take your word for it. I understand why you might have been a bit defensive, but that doesn’t call for disrespecting someone offering you sound criticism.
P.S. I would also refrain from claiming to be one of the best, purely on the basis that your insta has 44k followers. That would be true of any insta named “official[game name]news”

I came here looking for photography tips in FM7, however this thread contains nothing but crąp, negativity and battling egos, first time posting but worthwhile if one other person reads and skips.

At first. You got 44K followers on your profile because before FM7 cames out everyone was thinking that you bring news from (officialforzanwes) a new game. Actually I was thinking same. Second: at your profile are other people work for example @forzavouge which brings you more fans. I agreed with Wonderpil and your shots are not “hyper realistic”. Thoes are fine pics. Without 70% Photoshop you ain’t gonna have realistic photos. But as I said your pics are okey.
