I am new to Forza 6 and need to modify the controller settings. I read that there are multiple controller default layouts, but do not know how to get into them.
Right Bumper on the controller over to the OPTIONS tab, then go to CONTROLLER / WHEEL below. The regular settings are on the first menu screen that comes up, and Advance settings available by using the X button (blue one, not the Big X).

Of course you can’t actually get to the controller screen until you’ve done some of the unskippable on-boarding races first (brilliant bit of design, that, especially for people who had played a Forza before, or the demo), so if you’re brand new to Forza 6, as in you’ve just started your first race or so and paused the game looking for the settings, then you’ll have to muddle through until you get that far in.
