How To Display Images in Forum Posts
The forums require image urls to have a .jpg or .png extension to display photos. For this reason linking directly to one of your Gallery images (found under the COMMUNITY menu at the top of the forum) won’t display it; you’ll need to download the image and upload it to a site (such as Flickr) where it will have its own image address.
In the case of Twitter, you can right-click a Tweet’s image and Copy image address, paste it, and trim the excess url text starting with ? and substitute that with .jpg. For example:
-
This Tweet has an image: [https://twitter.com/ForzaHorizon/status/1456705890816495622]
-
Simply clicking on the image gives this address, which isn’t what you want:
Instead, right click on the image, Copy image address, and paste this:
Substitute the url extension to this:
Now use the image button in the post formatting menu, or wrap the link between url [ /img]
You can click Quote on this post to see the way this is written.
