How long does it take to get the VIP and Community gifts after you start FM6?

I just bought the Ultimate Edition last week because there was a decent deal on Deals for Gold.

I started playing this weekend. VIP shows in game (and I get the extra credits), and I got the 5 VIP cars for free. All the included DLC packs are working as well.

I’ve gotten some of the gifts, but not all of them. About half are missing.

I own FM5 + VIP + Car Pass
I own FH2 + VIP + Car Pass + Porsche + Storm Island

I’ve received:
FM5 - 2013 Ford Shelby GT500
FH2 - 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Shelby
For each game with 50 - 199 cars in your garage, you’ll receive 100,000 in-game credits. (I got a total of 200,000).
Tier 2 - 2015 BMW M235i
Tier 3 - 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition
Tier 4 - 2015 Jaguar F-Type R Coupe
Tier 5 - 2014 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S
FM5 VIPs - 2013 Ferrari LaFerrari
2017 Ford GT - Reward for playing the FM6 Demo. Gifted when you start FM6. September 2015

I didn’t get:
FH2 VIPs - 2011 Koenigsegg Agera
2014 Honda #2 Civic WTCC with Redline livery. Gifted to VIP players on April 2, 2016.
2013 Subaru BRZ with Chinese New Year livery. Gifted to VIP players on February 26, 2016.
2004 Mitsubishi Evo VIII with Father Time livery. Gifted to VIP players on January 29, 2016.
2011 Ford Transit van with holiday livery. Gifted to all players on December 21, 2015.
2011 Ford Transit van with holiday livery. Gifted to VIP players on December 21, 2015.
2013 Ford Focus ST with Forza 6 livery. Gifted to all players on November 25, 2015.
2002 Acura RSX with fall leaves livery. Gifted to VIP players on November 17, 2015.
1956 Ford F-100 with Fallout 4 livery. Gifted to all players on November 4, 2015.
2015 Ford Mustang GT with Halo Locke livery. Gifted to all players on October 30, 2015.
2016 Ford Shelby GT350R with Halo Master Chief livery. Gifted to VIP players on October 30, 2015.
2014 Ford Fiesta ST with custom livery. Gifted to VIP players on September 28, 2015.

I keep checking my messages in game, but after the first handful of cars, nothing else has arrived.

When I activated my FM5 VIP a few weeks ago, I got a flood of messages in my message box with all the past VIP rewards.
When I started FH2 in April, I got a flood of messages that included all past VIP and Community gifts in my message box.

Is there something wrong with my FM6 account?

You don’t get past vip cars that were gifted out. as stated in other vip threads here on the forums. you only get the ones gifted out after the day you bought vip

That’s… stupid. It wasn’t like that in FM5 or FH2. I got all the past ones when I started playing. FM6 is starting to lose its lustre…

What about the Community ones?

Yeah it is. Which cars were the community ones again? Like the 1977 Aston Martin V8 Vantage and the Hurican GT3 race car?

The ones above in my list that say “gifted to all players” vs the ones that say “gifted to VIP players”.

Would you please direct me to a thread that says, with certainty, that they changed how gift cars work for FM6?

EDIT: And that still doesn’t explain why I didn’t get the FH2 VIPs - 2011 Koenigsegg Agera.

The same goes with those as the vip gift cars. Ill try but cant promise ill find one at the moment unless some one else can. im at work at the moment and the internet is being very very slow today.

I’ve also emailed the address listed here on the forums with the content of what I’m missing and explaining why I thought I should receive them. It seems to have worked for some others, but we’ll see after I read your link.

Luckly found one lol. Someone else a while back did the same thing as you and never got the gift cars sent out before he bought only the ones after he bought VIP.

FYI. The car pass only cover October threw March’s car packs. April, May, Porsche, And the Soon NASCAR dlc you will have to buy separate.

Thanks… but that post still doesn’t explain why the change from FM5 and FH2.

I sincerely think it’s a glitch… until I see something from T10.

And my FH2 VIP car is still missing.

Oh I see know lol. I don’t believe any one has asked that before here on the forums. Did you have FH2 installed with VIP also installed? not sure if that would make a difference or not.

Yes, I still have FH2 with VIP and FM5 with VIP installed because I’m not done with them yet. :slight_smile:

And, yes, I know about the extra two packs needing to be purchased (as well as the expansions). I understand why you mentioned it, after reading a lot of the threads here, but I do understand the Car Pass only covered the first 6 DLCs. :slight_smile:

You don’t suppose the messages would have gone to my FM6 demo, do you? Does FM6 Demo even have a message center? I didn’t uninstall it until I had already installed FM6 (yes, I made sure to uninstall the correct one).

Cool. I had to restart my FH2 twice :(. No prob any time bud. The demo doesn’t carry over to the full game.

I still don’t have credit on Forza Hub for “Paid DLC Owned” for Forza 6 either… but I have VIP and Car Pass as part of the Ultimate Edition.

This is some messed up implementation. :frowning:

The Forza hub can take days …even weeks to update

Well, I don’t know if my email finally came up in the queue or it has something to do with the patch on Friday.

I brought up FM6 Friday night after a long day at work, and I saw there was another patch this week. So, I let it download and install, then I brought the game back up and… guess what’s waiting for me in my messages?

Yup. All the Community and VIP rewards I was previously missing.

No matter how it happened, just in case this gets read by T10 staff… THANK YOU!

I purchased Forza Motorsport 6 Deluxe in September and never received my Halo cars. I have tried to contact Turn10 via Twitter with no luck so far.

Only just seen this as I’ve come back to this thread to thank those at Turn10 as I logged on tonight and had received all 3 of the missing gift cars so to answer your question I do now have them, but only just.

Huge thanks to whoever was responsible at Turn10 for the safe delivery of my missing cars though you all rock!
