yes, they are all on the Backstage list except for those stated as being attached to an Accolade
so we now have three ways of guaranteeing which pair it’ll be
1 - guaranteed win for a pair with a Wheelspin car
2 - guaranteed loss for a pair where I want one of them
3 - guaranteed win for a pair with a car that was a Reward the week before

You think so, but one specific Backstage vote on FH4 blew my mind and made me question everything:
they chose the Mosler over the Escalade.

Have to confess I don’t know the specifics of that, you mean the community voted for the sensible choice? I know the Mosler was useful.

The Mosler also was gifted to all players already at that point if I remember correctly.
The Escalade lost against the Honda Civic CRX Mugen, the Maserati MC12 Corsa and Levante and the Mosler.

The voting mechanics makes this more convoluted than it should be via bad matchmaking or ill informed / mis guided voters.
Wheelspin cars should be an all or nothing addition. Rng accessible is still a pathway to them.
Then all festival rewards are left. With those i think all of those from 9 months or 20 weeks prior from today should also be added. That gives the players that did the playlist work merit too.
Also as time passes 1 car gets added to both the backstage pass and the current playlist equally to keep or maintain balance.

mosler was 400k in the auction house, everyone had one. Escalade was 7 million and I sold mine assuming we’d be getting a new one

Yeah, I have several models of nearly every Toyota in game (except for a few like the GR Yaris, GR86, hoping to get these through Backstage, otherwise will try to get it through AH somehow), being my favorite brand, and I also have 10 Wulings (don’t ask).
But in FH4 you could buy several cars of the same model thru Backstage I think (or only if the other car was obtained in another way than Backstage, have to check), which is why I find this a bit weird.
I really hope the Toyota’s I’m missing are gonna be up for votes soon (I think the pair with the GR Yaris will win for example cuz it’s super rare), but let’s see. Already have the AE86, but think thats gonna win too and possibly will vote for that pair anyway. Having two of them would be nice too (if it’s the case that you can have a car that you already own, but obtained thru a different source than Backstage)
No, you’re limited to one purchase per car model in FH4’s Backstage, or at least you are now. I have heard that it may have been different when the feature was first introduced.

I started on H4 after it was introduced but did quite a few votes; it’s been one car per account during that time. Of course, it might have changed as you indicate, after introduction but it was a fairly early change if it did happen.

It’s always been limit 1 instance per car from the backstage in fh4. You could/can get one if you already owned it via the playlist or auction house.
The forzathon shop has a different history and is likely what people are thinking about.

1000 #Forzathon Points per car purchase seems ludicrous to me when Forza 4 only charge 250 points. Maybe being generous 500 points to account for inflation (+) would have been acceptable but 1000 ???

yeah i agree, for a fairly normal player who doesn’t grind all the time, that’s maybe a 3+ weeks of saving lol
There are 4 times as many arcades available in FH5 per hour than in 4.
Technically 8 but obviously a player can’t do two at the same time.
I did wonder if it would be theoretically possible to do two, get one done and travel to the other one within two minutes. Extremely hard at best, I’d think; multiple people doing tasks at a well-above-average rate.
it’s only just been introduced to the horizon 4 forzathon shop so the 250 vs 1000 does make more sense with that in mind
slightly off topic, but is there still a way to get backstage passes in FH4? i figure I’ll grab the PO cars if so
