I’ll just paste my support ticket here, since they directed me here.
Forzathon live from FH4 was my absolute favourite thing to do in the game, and I keep the game installed to this day so I can go back and play them a few times a week. Horizon arcade pales in comparison to forzathon live.
I just want some way to draw more people to this mode. Put more rewards into playing arcades; give XP boosts for completing them, award a good chunk of money for playing X amount in a row or something, put more desirable cars in the forzathon shop and it will make arcades far more inviting.
Or, what I’ve been asking for for years: put matchmaking into the mode. Have it pull every single player playing the game, on any server, into one server and match them all together when they enter the pink circle. Or just add horizon arcade to the main multiplayer menu, so it can benefit from the usual matchmaking that horizon open has.

If this is not a feature you’re currently working on, I’d at least appreciate a definitive reply from the actual dev team that this will never happen for forza horizon 5. I’d be upset, but then I wouldn’t always be getting my hopes up each update just to be let down.
I don’t know if talking about non-forza games are allowed, but I did want to mention NFS Unbound’s version of this, called Linkups. Even with that game’s very small server capacity of 16, linkups are always very well populated. Why I think it’s so popular is it gives a very generous amount of XP & money to players for completing. It shows that if you offer valuable rewards, players will want to participate in coop game modes.
