It would be cool to see this in FH6, especially with the interest in 90s/early 2000s Japanese 4x4s and the game being set in Japan

4x4s have transfer cases this doesnt.

So? Doesn’t mean anyone can’t call them a ‘4x4’ because that’s how most people call them so it doesn’t matter, it has 4wd, it counts as a 4x4

4WD and AWD are not the same thing. AWD is what any 4x4 is but not all AWDs are 4x4s. One has the option to switch between 2WD or 4WD while the other is permanent and has no transfer case. AWD is a broader term that includes 6WD as well and 4WD is a variation of AWD.

People will still call them ‘4x4s’, you can’t change what people decide to say so enough is enough

Not all of them do. Also the CR-V isnt a AWD car if its optioned with FWD.

However the Jeep Wrangler does factually feature 4WD.
