Results post updated with the current lineup. Still no AMC Rebel (#1 on the LB the last I checked) nor two typically very strong contenders the Torana and Cougar.
Absolutely - Any driver can drive any car. I only limited to two entries per car on the tuning side to make sure we got some diversity. My intention is to drive all the entries my self and post my list of unofficial times so everyone at least gets some feedback. Hopefully we don’t get too much herding on the drivers side. I would encourage every tuner to submit their fastest lap as a driver along with the tune. I would like to accept saved replays to account for the fact that a driver may have already put up a faster time with another tune but I haven’t figured out how to verify the tune without being able to download it from the LB. Anyone have an Idea?
@CXR ELITE UCCIO - Welcome back, you are in - post here when the tune is finished with whatever you decided to name it. Per OP make sure "RA-HLC” is in the description.
Cheers dude. I’ve thrown something together under the name RA-HLC LIGHT but for some reason tune sharing isn’t working at the moment. Will upload later.
I went for ultralight build with a stock block. It needs to be driven very smooth with wheels in line but will carry big corner speed.
Free Play - “X” to Select track - “Y” to pull up the LB for that track then just like FM6. The replay files are there so I’m hopping it is just a bug that we can’t select them to view or run against. My attention span is going to be short lived if this was some terrible by design blunder on turn T10’s part. I saw your time but wasn’t able to get the tune. Please confirm that it is shared.
For everyone else I have noticed that if you are in Free Play you can make changes to the tune. As long as you save the tune before you run it and post a new PB you can share it at a later time and it will post to the LB as available for download. If you save after setting your best time there is no saved file to link to the LB. Apparently if you rename it later your tune will change but the shared file on the LB will keep the original name just like FM6.
I noticed that for some reason it didn’t share so I took it down, and shared it again.
Watch the replay (on my storfront) you should be able to get the telemetry up, so you can see how I drive it (it’s on sim steering) the fastest lap is 4th lap (out of 5 laps)
And it’s 1:37.xxx not 1:36 =)
Thanks I’ll check as soon as my kids go to bed Time corrected - I had 1:36 on the brain LOL. Glad to hear sim steering is working for you, I switched back to normal steering until T10Driver confirms the sim steering bug has been fixed (DUST’S 55 page! FFB wheel thread). Supposedly the normal steering code isn’t active with the wheel and there isn’t supposed to be a difference for wheel users.
UPDATE ON THE LB - you have to be in a Historic Road Racing Homologation tune of C475 to view the LB or else you get some useless overall LB, sigh…
I’m not a good tuner but I LOVE muscle cars and I love trying them out…will keep up with the thread, pick up as many tunes as I can and give feedback here. I used to get some “decent” times on leaderboards so I hope to do these justice.
