Neither are very good for handling, though the Hennessey is slightly better. The Hennessey is faster acceleration wise; it tops out at 267 MPH, whereas the Agera will hit 270 MPH (the Hennessey will still beat it at drag races). The Hennessey looks better in my opinion and I believe its cheaper.
Stock? Meh. Upgraded and tuned correctly? The Koenigsegg is a boss at handling without a wing or splitter if you know how to tune correctly. Haven’t tried the Hennessey for that yet.
I’ve had more success with the Koenigsegg than the Hennessey. I’ve been able to get times close to the Zonda on some of the speed tracks like Spa and Road America. About all I’ve been able to do in the Hennessey is a sweet donut.
Read this earlier and thought id try the venom out on a handling track. I did the career race in the hypercars at longbeach and was supprised to get a 1.18.415. 1.5 seconds outside the top 100. I tried out a few venoms and settled for a tune by: DTM DECKRASSOR it was the most controllable by far although it still needed TCS. The venom is really built for speed tracks and is a handfull but is drivable. Try out the tune and see what you think my only advice is brake earlier than you think you should. The tune also has very high brake pressure. Good luck
Long beach doesn’t really have high speed turns. The Venom is light enough and has big enough tires to handle low speed turns adequately, and its superb acceleration makes it good between the turns. It’s a bit of a niche track in this aspect, so it’s not surprising it’s as good as it is on this track. You just can’t make use of it’s speed to make the car more competitive.
As for the OP, the Koenigsegg allows for more flexibility so it is a better overall car in my opinion. With the Hennessey you’re virtually locked in to a build in which speed is the dominant factor. That being said, it’s good on speed tracks for that reason.
I was trying to make a point that any car can be competative to an extent. The tune i used is for le mans i believe and was out of its comfort zone, yet performed quite well. Granted i would never opt for that car at the alps but as you said its light and can handle low speed turns well. Also granted i could not make full use of the speed on that track. Hence a top 300 and not higher yet i believe it would out race the koni on 80% of the tracks and is a lot cooler.
i hate the hennesy. i can not tune or drive it. i dont think i could be worse with the car if you jumped on my controler until it was in 5 peices and forced me to play with that. i would go with the koen.
Probably the agera, the hennessey will most likely oversteer or wheelspin alot due to the amount of horsepower, although its a beast at the straights, same logic was in Horizon haha
