[HELP] Can somebody elaborate on how to COOP with another friend (convoy of 2) ?

Hi all,

In FH3 it was much easier to coop as we entered each others adventure and we were able to see each other right away.
In FH4 it works slightly different to that, at least what I saw so far.

Me and my friend, join a convoy , we are the only 2 in the conwoy, then we find a race we want to COOP and the game gives the ability to COOP with the convoy.
Select that and then it sayis waiting for the other player…and it just counts down and then nothing happens.
Both our Networks work, we are able to play in “Team Adventure” or “Forza Life”, but we are unable to COOP.

The other player does not receive a notification of a COOP request either.
My friend has finished the prolog to the 2nd season which enables Multiplayer (as mentioned above team adventure does work).
I am way ahead of him somewhere near the lvl 80 mark (finished all showdowns).

Could someone elaborate how we should COOP in case I missed something?

There is no information regarding this there.
Should be a straightforward process, that is why I do not understand why they design it so cumbersome at Playground!?

In other games I just hit COOP → invite player → play

Myself and my brother have completed a few races when in convoy. The leader selects the race etc, COOP, invite all or just convoy,.

2nd player will get an alert saying such and such is starting an event, 2nd player has to select enter to join, 2nd player then has to confirm to enter race etc again.

While 2nd player is doing this the Leader will see awaiting player. are you sure your friend is pushing the right buttons in order to join the race etc.
