I got my code yesterday and have played both a fair amount.
Friends of mine got their yesterday. I played all Forza titles, Halo: MCC and Halo 5 - still no code. Perhaps it is the same like Battlefield Insider, still awaiting my code

I’m also waiting my code for the Warthog, I am so nervous… :s
I understand that they have to find halo player and send the code, I hope it’s just a question of time.

The thing is. Considering the amount of codes they need to send out. They won’t send everyone at the same time. They will send x amount on that day, x amount on the next day etc. So your friend might get it today. You might get it on Sunday. It’s nothing to worry about really. It’s fairly normal that codes like that comes at different times to different people

For those who are worried about not receiving the Warthog code, worry no more, in today’s WIR article the deadline for the code is September 23.

I haven’t received my code and I own Halo 5. I know plenty of people that received their codes. I have spoken to Xbox support and they had no answer. What’s going on?
Thank you for this information I managed to pick up a copy £20-£30 cheaper than everywhere else I’d looked last weekend but didn’t get a chance to play it until Monday so was hoping I wasn’t too late so it’s great news to see I was in perfect time.
I’m also loving Halo, so I’m pleased I got it and not just for the car either, makes a change to play something completely different.
I suspect there are a lot of codes to be given out and it’s impossible to get everyone done on the same day, there’s still plenty of people in the other thread without their codes too and they did say they were starting to send them out this week, the fact that some have them is a good indication that they have started the process and I’m sure you will get a code soon.
For now like the rest of us without codes it looks like a waiting game for now, but no worries it’s still at least 2 weeks until release day which is plenty of time.
The quote also implies that codes are going to continue to be sent out throughout the whole month, if you can play as late as the 23rd and still get the Warthog. So patience is certainly key here.
Nice to have another ‘just play MCC/Halo 5’ quote as well. Shouldn’t be any minimum amount of gameplay for it to count.
i started some halo gameplay the day i saw the warthog was available. now i havnt played a lot but have played some. when should i expect the download code or did i need to play the game before the announcment. i hope to receive this car. any news would be helpfull.
Have to play before sept 23rd. As long as it’s on your game list you should get it. 
Each Warthog is built by hand by a small group of grunts, so please give them some time and you’ll receive your Warthog sooner or later.
What if i plyed only Halo CE, from within the MCC, does it still count, or do i ned to play all the titles from the MCC?
MCC is MCC. Just loading the game is enough.

If you have a code, which I have, when is it best to see if it will download the warthog? Before or after the release date, in my case for the Ultimate Edition?

um guys I still havent recieved my code yet, im starting to get a bit worried. I have played halo 5 and all but I still didnt get my code. any clues why?
Since it’s a new page - this code is being sent to literally every person who’s ever played MCC or Halo 5. That’s a LOT of people. It will take a long time to reach everyone.
