I have had halo 5 since launch, and have not been emailed a code for my warthog yet. I did make a post on xbox forums for horizon 3 and the person told me to post to this forum.
How long ago did you get horizon? Iirc, it was a limited time event to get the free warthog. They’re all over the auction house though.

Yes. I didn’t even buy any of the compatible Halo games and missed out on it. But I did get my Warthog for only 350k. What I don’t get is why I can’t buy preorder cars over the Auction House. Does Microsoft and Gamestop still use one-time use codes for DLC cars?

You can only buy them if you had the codes redeemed
The preorder cars are just the same version as what is already in the game anyway…just with the tag and a slighty different tune…you can tune the standard versions the exact same by just auto maxing to the standard class

Ah, okay. I was just wondering if that was the reason why I couldn’t bid on any pre-order edition cars.
I have just the standard version of the game I bought almost 3 weeks after release and I have always been able to buy them. I don’t know why because I never preordered but I can. I got my XB1 when I got H3 so I don’t have any Halo experience and just bought out a Warthog for 400K.
The prices have been slowly but steadily going down since the beginning of December. Not sure why, especially with the holidays and all, but most of the ones I saw were starting at 1m or more. Now a majority of the ones I see being sold have a buyout of 1m with a starting bid of 200k to 600k. Nice to know it’s not a one-time deal like the horns, though.
