it goes automatically into your garage
need to manuallly install to, probably waiting in Manage game section of FH3
maybe try a quitting the game then go back in and check your garage
if not try a system reboot or hard reset
This how i got mine. I was playing the game yesterday and got a message through the xbox about the warthog, opened the message, redeemed the warthog and found it in my garage not the autoshow. Didn’t have to download just redeem the code.

ive not yet received my warthog code, i played halo master chief collection about a week before FH3 was realised and i still don’t have my code…
Still no Warthog code here. Is there anyone to notify?

I also never received a code either after playing Halo 5 Guardians, the Forza Horizon 3 Demo, and also pre-ordering Forza Horizon 3. Please GIV-ITH to me…Please.
im waitin on xbox support chat ima have more info maybe… but yea i played demo i played halo 5 guardians and nope no code for me. ill keep update if i have something !

Thanks for waiting Marc, I managed to verify your eligibility for the Warthog promotion, your account should be receiving the code within the next few days, since the codes are sent on a wave by wave basis, the system usually send the one’s who pre ordered earlier the codes first, then it proceeds to send the later pre orders

I’m having this problem too.
I redeemed the code about a week ago, and I saw no warthog in my game.
So I tried to uninstall the warthog gift, and when I tried to install it again- it’s not available anymore!
Please fix this!
So I received my code and redeemed it while when the demo came out. The game came out the other day and I progress to choosing either surf city or the outback and received my loyalty cars but no warthog, since I was heading out to work I put it off until today. I scoured my garage and the autoshow and found no warthog, at that point I thought maybe the demo is in conflict since I hadn’t uninstalled it yet, so I went ahead and uninstalled the demo and poof there went the warthog along with it. So from what I’m assuming is that since I redeemed it with the demo it won’t work with the main game.

maybe you can give a try with xbox live chat support. worth a try. unless a mod here can give you a real answer
Just had a chat with live chat support. For anyone who is wondering it is a known issue that they have been working on. Turn 10 apparently told them that the content will more than likely appear on the ‘actual’ release day for anyone having issues still. Plus apparently for anyone who redeemed the code and uninstalled to try troubleshooting, they will supposedly put the content up for you to re-download around that time as well. At least that’s what i got from the support team.

Same here, got the code, redeemed it. Later played the demo, deleted the demo. It wasn’t showing up ingame so I tried to reinstall it but it was gone.
I have got mine off the auction house costs something but then you have something to drive!!
I first thought it wouldn’t work but it actually works.
Sorry to rehash any information already provided. I received my code to download the Warthog on 9/8. When I installed the Horizon 3 demo it was listed with the demo files. When the full game was installed the Warthog file was listed both under the files for the full game and the demo files. I uninstalled the demo which in turn uninstalled the Warthog. It has not shown up under the “Ready to Install” section.
I spoke with an Xbox Live Support member today:
“I have reviewed your account here and it does show that the Halo Warthog item is already redeemed on the account and supposedly shows up in Game however when I consulted your concern here. It seems that this is an on going issue and you are not the only one who is affected with this, some players also have the same issue as what you have.”
“The Game Developer and Microsoft is already aware of this issue and also working on this to fix this as soon as possible.”
I asked if the file will show up in the Ready to Install list and if the file is possibly lost forever:
“The item will not be lost forever. This is a Server issue and hopefully this will be fixed right away and show up immediately on your end.”
When asked if this was an issue with Playground Games’ servers, Xbox Live’s, or possibly both:
“Good question. Unfortunately, we haven’t receive yet any information which Server has the issue.”
Though it is obviously a server issue with Playground. Since Friday the servers in game have been acting crazy, which is to be expected for new game releases.
I hope it gets sorted out soon for everybody.

I’m with the others, redeemed the code. Warthog is no where to be found in the manage game menus

I have a possible fix for those that still have the file to hand, but you’ll need an external HDD.
The Warthog file shouldn’t read “Gift Car - Halo Warthog”, it should instead be “Forza Horizon 3 - Halo Warthog”, like the other add-ons.
To make the file say this, Copy it (not Move, the file clash seems to rename it), between internal and external HDD’s, until the file name changes.
Once it’s changed on the internal, delete the external copy, and Move the renamed file back over.
I then booted up the game, and was told that there was a new car to collect in my garage.
