Ok. This makes more sense. My bad. I received the FH3 credits today (sunday) and thought this was related to the stream (until yesterday the ForzaRC site also said FM7 + FH3, but they obivously fixed it).

I know you can buy the 2012 but I didn’t know the 2017 was locked, don’t use that car.
But I remember it should be in the dealer.
Quest 5 reward is a standard 2017 Nissan GT-R, no livery, nothing special.
It’s a tier 4 car, everybody can buy for 270,000.
For anyone who still wants the Forza RC suit or Nissan, even though the stream is over the quest still advances by just being on their channel. Open it on a new tab and just leave it for a few hours and you should still get the rewards.

There’s this method in Forza 7. I have two BT24s and two Flying Lizard Audis. People sell these cars all the time.
However, this has NOT been the first time the Commodore has been released. You could already have one from winning the weekly contests. This is why I was able to download designs for it as soon as I claimed it from the show’s quest, and still while the show was running.
You can make design for cars you don’t own. In paint car select change car and go to ALL CARS and make a design on ANY car in the game.
Having cars locked is fine, but having to do things externally from the game is just stupid and I am totally against it. If content is locked it should be unlockable from gameplay itself, if I want to pick the game up years down the track and replay it I most likely won’t be able to unlock any of the unicorns at all. You can’t even buy or sell these cars with other players.
FM2 did locked cars the right way, if there was a car you couldn’t unlock because of a skill required just use the auction house. unicorns were simply slightly different versions of cars already available, T10 should learn from the past, don’t try fix what ain’t broke.

I was hoping to be able to grab the suit and Aston after the fact, but unfortunately the timer doesn’t work for the VOD. I did get the Holden though, which is one I’ve been trying to get anyway, so there’s that.

But then giving Maestro permission to use my XBox account and linking to Twitter to get free cars feels wrong.
Days after the Cambridge Analytica scandal, It seems too much to give personal data away for virtual cars.
Just feels wrong, I would be on my high horse but someone stole it.

You still can unlock quest 1 & 2 … the Holden and the Ford Mustang FE with the livery.
Quest 3, 4 and 5 didn’t work yesterday.
