Does anyone have any favourite places to meet with their friends and take photos with, like out the front of houses, in the driveway, streets?
Personally I have a some locations in Surfer’s paradise:
A two-driveway, double storey house ( not far south from the Beachside Blast street race). However because the sun is behind the house towards dusk it’s not good for evening photos, at least in my experience. 
One driveway, white/grey house (good for bright cars since the cars really stand out from the bland modern house). Located down from the previous mentioned house. If you take the lower part of the Cross Bridge drift zone and go across the intersection you should see a house to the left with bins out the front.
This street makes for some killer photos (when the brightness and colour is done right). 
Then there’s the Coalcliff speed trap, literally on that marker on the map is a house with a large wide driveway and a carport, people have been seen using this before I’ve noticed.
In Byron Bay there’s the nice Victorian-era pub next to the roundabout, and the carpark next to that (good place to do burnouts and take photos there)… if only they included a double storey Coles carpark.
