Rewind is broken …. again.
You press rewind and rather than pause for you to carry on or rewind more, it plays what it rewinded. Had this one aswell last year.

I’ve rewind mapped to a button of my wheel. It only works once no matter how often I press it. If I want to rewind further back I’ve to use R on the keyboard instead. Which is a bit strange but since I don’t use this function that much I don’t really care.
I hopped on this afternoon to finish Rami’s races and have found that rewind isn’t working. Mostly it comes out of rewind by itself, occasionally with the car about 300m from the track. It’s happened in three different cars, McRae’s focus, a hoonigan escort and an Alpine.
It has done it both in races and in free roam.

Odd rewind bug that I’ve not seen before. In the first Street Scene race, the car rewound, but would then start moving forwards without any intervention from me. When I did try to get the car to resume the race, it would do that at some random point within the span of the rewind. Tried rewind in the following race, but it was back to normal.

Rewind only works one time no matter how far u have driven the car. This started on May 5 after the latest update. Reboots and all tips have failed to resolve this issue. Best regards, John ( Xbox X all updates)
I’ve had rewind freezing since release.
You drive then press rewind. Rather than rewind, the icon on screen just spins and you don’t move at all. Then you do it again and it does it. Annoying when you’re in an online race.

A slightly different problem with rewind today. It wouldn’t rewind for more than about 1 second. It was in free roam mode, happened at the eastern end of the highway and again at the road at the end of the runway at the main horizon festival, just as I came over the crest. There was no option to rewind further.
I spoke too soon. The broken rewind is back with a vengeance. Often I get less than a second of rewind and cannot rewind further, when I do get to rewind longer than that it doesn’t allow me to control my car for 3 or 4 seconds as well as not giving me the pause part to decide if I want to rewind further.
This is beyond a joke. It has reached the point of being a game breaking fault.
I play on a series X, now wired on a 230mbps connection. The Xbox and controllers are up to date as of last night.
I thought I was a victim of this, too. Then I realised I had turned off the rewind function instead of the LC.

In some cases bugs will not be fixed due to a variety of reasons such as the feature becoming obsolete, the feature is currently intended and working as expected, or a risk of creating larger issues when attempting to fix.
