Gameplay - Race Settings reset upon loading saved presets (1832334)

Title! Applies to both Multiplayer and Singleplayer lobbies!

When ever I load a preset that I made myself it resets the rules completely.
After saving a new preset (if I manage to do it, cause the other bug) it still does it.
Worked like a charm until update of yesterday.
Next issue: When ever I have to type in something, the game does not recognise me being logged in. That softlocks my game and I have to ALT+F4 it.
Forza Motorsport 7, Forza Horizon 5 and Forza Horizon 4 all work fine, so it’s 100% Motorsport 2023!
Edit, new bug: Test Drive in single player mode now doesnt spawn you in like it does on Meet up online play. It starts off as a regular race!

I just experienced this during the TORA World Challenge. Every time you enter the “Event Setup”, the “Rules” page resets to the default, regardless of what was previously set. Changing it manually to what you want does work, until you go back in again.

How to reproduce the bug:
1.Race → Free Play → Advanced Event Setup
2.Rules → Rules & Regulations → Event Rules Presets: Sport Rules or Expert Rules
3.Load/Save Event Setup → Save Current Options
4.Load the Event Setup you just saved
What happened:
Event Rules Presets shows Club Rules(which is the default), you can still change it manually.
What I expect to happen:
Event Rules Presets shows Sport Rules or Expert Rules
Game platform/version
Steam 1.622.2599.0, which is the latest version at the time being.

apparently you can load your save and change what you need and dont look at it or it will reset, it resets if you look.

What’s kind of weird is that it doesn’t actually reset to Club settings, it just displays them in the menu.

Tonight we tested in a qualifying lobby setup (fuel/tires/damage, collisions off) then changed track only and no other settings kinda forgetting about the glitch. When it loaded into a new track, it had collisions on (which lines up with Club settings) but damage was still on and fuel burn and tire wear was all on and working, even though the broken lobby settings said “Cosmetic damage” like it should for Club settings.

It was annoying enough having to reset power cuts every time you had to change a lobby setting…

Was trying to run a league race and looby settings to do with rules (damage, penalties, ghosting) wouldn’t save or would revert back to default every attempt. I had multiple try and they had the same issue.

For me this happened without loading a preset, but just setting up the event.

It isn’t saving Event rules presets which control the other areas and default back to the Club preset.
From my understanding you need to set this each time you load your event settings.

I have heard this is only affecting new saved event settings.

No, event setups created before Update 10 also have this bug.

Since update 10, you have to literally make certain in the difficulty settings that you are using Expert Rules. Otherwise, it will always revert to Club Rules. Even if you save Event setups with Expert Rules, and since Update 10, it always reverts to Club Rules no matter. After loading your saved Event Settings with Expert it still reverts to Club. The only way to get Expert Rules is to set it in Difficulty every single time you race. This is a new bug with Update 10 and needs resovled asap.

Bug Info: Damage, Fuel, Tire, Penalty, etc settings do not persist between races when hosting private multiplayer lobby.
Platform: Tested on Xbox Series X, verified by three different players at the time, affects all players in the lobby regardless of platform
Edition: Various
Account: Various
Xbox Settings: Various
Attempted fixes: Attempted to save lobby settings. Does not persist after one race.
Content Update: This happened after Update 10

Group plays every Tuesday; We noticed immediately after Update 10 that our lobby settings for damage, fuel, tires, penalties, etc would not persist after each race. Loading a new track or layout would override saved settings and default to (whatever the default settings are for fuel, tire, damage, penalties, etc, I did not write it down or make a note.) Verified by three different users on Xbox Series X and PC in different global regions (We attempted different lobby hosts to see if that would correct the issue. It did not)
All players in the lobby were affected by the changes regardless of what platform they were playing on.

This required the lobby host to wait for all players to load the next track/environment after a race, and then go back into event settings and correct the settings that did not persist.

This issue did not exist prior to Update 10.
