Pretty much as the title says. Doesn’t seem to be tied to any specific setting or even any specific circumstances.
It’s a 50/50 shot if the game crashes or not which is unbelievably annoying to deal with when the entire game has to restart to get back to the point where it might just crash again.
This was also an issue in FM7 (Albiet less so) so I really don’t understand how this wasn’t fixed
