Hi guys, has anyone else pre-ordered the digital edition of Forza Horizon 3 from GAME.co.uk and received their codes yet?
Just wondering because I pre-ordered my ultimate edition copy nearly a month ago and havn’t received a code yet even though other stores have released theirs.
Want to get this pre-loaded ready for the 23rd which is why the code would be nice instead of spending the first few days of release downloading the game.
At least we have the demo look forward to in a few days 
I was considering posting a similar thing but I was waiting until the demo was out before I did it.
I ordered my digital Ultimate Edition last week through Game. I haven’t received any code yet, in spite of an e-mail saying it was ‘shipped’. I even tried the re-sending of codes option but the message just said the code was ‘coming soon’.
Codes are being sent out from Amazon, although apparently there’s nothing to pre-load yet on PC, so if I had a code it wouldn’t get me very far. I do hope they don’t plan on sending them on the 23rd. That would really suck.
If I hear anything or get mine I’ll let you know. You do the same.

Yeah, my download email said ‘coming soon’ too. My game.co.uk order also says the code has been shipped.
When I clicked on the redeem link in the email it took me to the Xbox site, the bar where the code is supposed to be entered also says ‘coming soon’. Had no luck with the QR code in the email either.
Will contact them tomorrow online and instore, I’ll keep this topic updated with what they say. Sure hope they don’t release the digital codes on the 23rd

Update from my last post
I visited a game store today and asked about the release of digital pre-order codes, the staff behind the counter both pointed to the horizon 3 poster on the wall and said they didn’t know.
Spoke to someone from game.co.uk online, gave my order number and basically they said the digital pre-order codes would be released and sent by email on the 23rd of September. I sure hope they’re just saying this because they can’t give an actual date just yet, maybe after the demo is released we’ll know a bit more.
Thanks for the update. I asked on Twitter (thanks to ManteoMax above) but I haven’t got a reply yet, so that might mean they just don’t know. If it is the 23rd it’s the last thing I’m ever ordering from them. I’ll stick to Amazon or others. Surely Game must know about pre-loads and that you can’t actually play the game until the release date?
In the GAME store I went to I could only see posters for horizon 3, couldn’t see any pre-order cards like there are for other games. Pretty sure they’d know about preload, maybe game havn’t received their codes to release to us, could be a possibility. The only other thing I can think of is they havn’t released any digital pre-order codes in incase someone preloads the game on pc, then cracks it or unlocks it, then the FH3 will be out there before intended. Hey, sorry for the late reply but I had a bit of a conversation with Games Twitter peeps over several days (I don’t check Twitter much).
Essentially, it’s what we already know - they’ll be out on or just before the 23rd. He added that normally they receive info stating that they can release even earlier for pre-loading but they didn’t get that for FH3. He also offered to pass my comments on to the PTB for their consideration. I don’t expect much to happen with that.
So it’s the 23rd or maybe 22nd then. It’s the last digital order Game get from me.
Same for me, will use another store next time. I ordered the ultimate edition not just for the car packs and dlc but also for the 4 days early access, guess i’ll be spending that downloading lol
My son preordered the Ultimate Edition from the XBox store and is still waiting for his codes

I too have ordered Game about a month ago and am waiting for my code. My son ordered his from Microsoft last week he got his code and has downloaded the game onto his Xbox, he also has downloaded it onto mine. So hopefully when i do eventually get my code from Game i won’t have to wait to download.
Why did you all pre order the digital edition from game when you could of just ordered it from the xbox store for the same price then you wont be waiting 4 a code and it would pre load prior to release on 23rd
- Can’t speak for others but I didn’t want to give my payment details (any kind) to MS. I had trouble with them a few years ago. Game already had my details from other purchases.
- At the time it wasn’t clear in my country that the Xbox store actually sold you the digital version. All it ever mentioned was Xbox and I have no use for a disc based Xbox version. The info between forums and the sites was conflicting.
- Out of all the pre-order bonuses Game had the only one I was interested. Not a biggie but why get another car I didn’t care for?
- But the main thing was, and I can speak for the others here, is that we didn’t know that we wouldn’t get the codes early. Game releases them for other titles, just not this one yet. As far as we knew we would be able to pre-load it early.
Numbers 1, 3 and 4 are some of the reasons I chose GAME.co uk instead of any others. Hopefully it’ll all be ok when it comes to the 23rd
What are all you guys talking about. What code? I bought mine a few days ago, downloaded it, and it is already installed , ready to go. Says game will be playable on the 23rd. Got it from the xbone store.

What are we talking about? Maybe you should read the title of this thread.
This topic is all about folks who bought their game through Game.co.uk - as it says clearly in the title. If you buy it from a third party store (like Game, Gamespot, Amazon etc) you get sent a code that you then redeem on MS/Xbox sites. So far it doesn’t look like we are getting the code for pre-loading, even though others third party sites have sent theirs.
That is what we are talking about.

Any updates about codes from game.co.uk ? Really hope, that I’ll be able to start playing with all others who bought Ultimate version. Not a few days after.
Havn’t heard anything yet, just checked my game.co.uk account codes, still the same ‘coming soon’ gets sent. Got my fingers crossed for them to release digital codes tomorrow as they’ll ship out physical copies tomorrow too ready for Friday.
Having talked to a GAME online customer service representative this afternoon, I was told that they believe codes for the digital ultimate editions will be sent out tomorrow afternoon (Thursday) so that people can pre-load ahead of the Friday launch. Pre-order bonus car codes should also be sent at the same time.
