FFB bug:

Is no one gonna mention the annoying right steering ffb bug that existed since initial release? I use Logi G Hub (FH5 didn’t work with LGS so I’m using GHub since the game release).

This bug is noticeable, and annoying, with 0 spring force, more with 0 minimum force. Center spring and high min force really ruin the ffb for me. Even with center spring there’s still a little right steering ffb when going slow. The slower you go, the more it’s felt.

Whenever I’m cruising and let the wheel go, the car turns right and I always have to hold the steering wheel to go straight.

Controls resetting:

With controls settings resetting to default every game launch, there’s quite some process to get into the game, EVERYTIME.

  1. (Recent update) wait for the black screen for some minutes.
  2. Start
  3. Options
  4. Controls
  5. Select Custom Controls (which has been 3 items away from the default since an update, so 3 button presses)
  6. Back
  7. Select save
  8. Back
  9. Continue

(Just gets worse with updates)

Other than the still existing various crashes depending on various setting combinations (that also seem to get worse over time, especially with “hotfixes”), these 2 have made the game such a hell, and it’s been almost a year, I’m very sick of it.

Also wish they would bring back the wheel rotation angle setting - was so much better than messing about with deadzones - and also fix the LSB / RSB buttons not being an option to map to anything.

It’s actually a bit worse if you have rebound the default Forza Link button (D-pad left). After loading the custom profile, even though it says Link is bound to some other button, you have to set up that binding again or else D-pad left functions as both Link and whatever you changed it to. So in my case, if I forget this, every time I use D-pad left for the clutch I also open quick chat :neutral_face:

Change camera is also buggy for me, I’ve assigned view button to it, and RSB to look right (which I guess was change camera by default), so looking right while switching convertibles’ mode changes camera too, and change camera itself doesn’t work sometimes or works multiple times at once some other times.

I was soooo sick of constantly holding the wheel from going right. It was like 50% of my problem with the game, because I always use steering wheel.

Now remains the controls settings reset bug, that and making the game more polished and stable, making it not crash with specific graphics settings, aand it’ll become a not annoying, nice game.
