Fundamental and necessary

Hello, knowing that this message may be from a fan of this type of simulator for 25 years, here’s a great tip for this magnificent game. I loved its gameplay and car handling on the track, which not many achieved. If it weren’t for that combined with the balanced competitiveness in the online races, since I play it with a controller, I would have probably abandoned it due to the multitude of problems it’s given me. Having said that, I wanted to add certain points that I, and many others, believe are obvious in a “simulation” car racing game. These are making me see the game in a different light.

First: In the online racing modes, I sincerely believe that some multiplayer additions should be reconsidered. For example, these could be: a Tournament or a short Championship of 3 or 5 races, which could be based on points, with perhaps some additional additions. Or a topic that I don’t know why it’s in this game, since it’s been used in most racing games, is the creation of public rooms that you can enter based on your safety score and matchmaking for better balanced competition, always seeking balance on the track but being able to select a track, etc., and keeping the racers for some races or even getting to know each other, improving competitiveness.

2nd: I don’t fully understand the decision that anything that happens on the track makes your car go ghost. Honestly, it could be controlled in other ways, such as greater penalties for inappropriate actions in the race, even disqualification and mandatory exit from the race, or ghost mode until the end of the race. Any other ideas before ghost mode? And I know it helps in many cases, both the one in front and the one who makes the mistake, but I don’t see it as fair in a race; I advocate for a more realistic option.

3rd: Why can’t I see my lap times or those of the other racers on the track after finishing a race? Something as logical as, after racing, wanting to see your own or your opponents’ times with their respective penalties. In addition to seeing what type of tires they used… Something I can’t understand missing from the post-race information…

4th: And I’ll call it a day. Variable weather in online multiplayer doesn’t exist or isn’t visible. I think it would be a luxury if some races made things difficult for you with the weather, races perhaps a bit chaotic for some but emblematic for others.
Also, the car trouble or breakdown system isn’t used in competitive online mode either… These two logical options would be very useful at certain events.

I’m sure I’m leaving out more things that I would consider essential, but I’ll leave that to the professionals who create video games like this one. Thanks for the great work.
