Wow, too many great photos in here to go by one by one. But just wow. All these were taken in FM4? cause some of them, there is no way I could tell if it is real world or FM4.

Yer they were taken in FM4, some are BIGSHOTS - wish that feature was in FM5! Thanks for your comments man, no-one is saying anything about this gallery and it feels like a waste because all the attention is on FM5 yet my FM4 shots deserve better ;-p.

Sadly some of the shots came out with too much brightness and not enough contrast due to me taking shots on random TVs so when downloading them onto the computer they looked completely different and I haven’t’ bothered to adjust them!

I know, it’s not like before when the community was really strong. I love posting shots and getting constrictive criticism or comments. It really helps improve the skills of everyone.

I think the main problem with the community, is that everyone still thinks they are taking great pictures, and that whatever you are doing is on the same level as them. I have already given some insider tips to people, the foolproof “57’s” setup, I have even posted publicly… so it would seem that there is no such thing as a bad photo… only good photo’s and AMAZING photos… and the jump is quite large, but nobody taking bad photos.

My guess is that Taking Pictures in a video game, was not enough of a reason to purchase an Xbox One and Forza 5, for a lot of people… I see it as simply not dumping money into a new camera body, or another 70-200 ƒ4, especially since it is winter. I seriously did buy Forza 5 specifically to take pictures, since I really enjoy it. I literally spend about an hour creating a single picture sometimes, Taking 9 exposures, and then combining them carefully, re-adjusting the colors, and then processing them, only to finally realize, there is text that is out of focus, and then re-doing the entire process.

Then I see people copy my stuff, well, attempt to re-create it. While it would bother many people, I find it to be very cool, that I can not only inspire people to help progress the impact that I have on the photography world, but adding friends, and helping to add more emphasis to the photo mode in racing games… and hopefully every other genre.

I have been doing In-game photography since the first game that I found that offered it, and the developers seem to realize that it widens their brand recognition, as many people are using photos for wallpaper, and likewise, doing searches for “Laferrari” and landing on my photo posted to flickr, 50 times a day.

The lack of competition, and community, also has a little bit to do with people still Racing, like hardcore.

I for one Still have not finished the campaign in Forza 4, because I spent cumulative Weeks, taking photos, and not racing… I don’t see me ever finishing the career in FM5.

Where the community differs right now, is that there are still more people playing FM4 than FM5, and once you see the quality of the photos that FM5 is pushing out, exactly how much incentive is there to even pause the game to take a picture in FM4, when you simply can’t take the picture you envision taking in FM5.

Remember only having 2X zoom? I do… yet people only had one choice at the time. Right now you have FM4 that has pretty much every option that 360 can muster, and FM5 which is still going through early puberty.

I fully expect to see more people playing, more people contributing, and a lot more people competing, in the weeks following Titanfall’s release… seeing as FM5 is pretty much a no-brainer purchase, if you buy an Xbox One.

Well said Wonderpill and thanks for your input. One of the greatest things about Forza Motorsport is that you can be a racer, painter, photographer, videoographer, tuner etc etc. I like to think I love to race and in Forza Motorsport 4 I bought the CSR Elite and Race seat to boot, loved it - but never raced career, just rivals. Funnily enough; most of my time spent was taking photos!

Forza provides us with many experiences, it’s a game you can always come back to and love every minute of it no matter what part of it your into - the community is probably on a break, they will be back! ;D

FF, you flatter me. Trust me, there are more folks out there that are just not posting, but still looking.
I had a peek at your PORSCHE IS UNLEASHED video…outstanding! Love the aerial shots, and the drift segment but really liked the two Porsche’s driving down the chicanes on Camino (at 56 sec left)…at dusk…just a fantastic shot. And, while I was at your Flickr site I saw this and was taken aback…

again, fantastic.

FF, I used to have a gallery in media and dabbled a bit in the photomode but I am more of a designer and I host a monthly photocomp so my Flickr site is full of home space shots of prize cars, very few photos. Thanks for asking. I think for the time being I will just look at your stuff and stuff by other photogs. Thanks, I will continue to be a fan.
