Thanks for posting the times @AXWELL311, before i went to the dr’s i managed to get some runs in but none were clean or fast enough, though at the end i have a tune now that im sure is. it will have to wait for another challenge to get some use. until then any suggestions on a new challenge for today? cc had a great idea. i will wait for him to get online to post it. just a hint though, its all american for this one…
No prob Chevy can pick this 1 ,all good
Of course, congratulations to everyone on the previous challenge. After preliminary arrangements with CRW, let me post a new challenge that will end on Sunday at 11 p.m. Pacific time. Europe (Monday 8am). The challenge will consist of two routes. We will drive everything in class B. We were looking for a group of cars with a lot of possibilities, such as power, weight, awd, rwd and even fwd drive. We decided to reach for the classics of the automotive industry in the American edition. The real smell of gasoline, loud and powerful engines. Yes, it can’t be anything else but two groups of cars - Retro and Classic Muscle Cars. Because their power is terrifying, we will decide to lower it by putting on off-road tires!!! What do you say? sounds nice?
I wish you all great times - have fun with tuning the car and exploring all these possibilities. Gentlemen, start your engine!
this will be a good one. after watching that youtube video you posted a few days ago i will try the advice he gave on tuning
So far here are the results for the first half of the challenges
Cascada Trail -
I will post the results for Tapalpa in a few minutes
Tapalpa Trail -
Its seems for Cascada the Buick is putting in the fastest times. Lightweight and grip is important while at Tapalpa, as long as you have power any car may be fast enough for a fast time. Good racing so far everyone! Let keep going and get some more top 100 times.
The Buick Regal is pretty much the best option out there. It’s very close to the Impala, it’s even more grippy, but it loses its power and weight in the straights. For me, the most important thing there in Cascada is the gearbox and the fit so that the car keeps driving and doesn’t slow down, especially uphill. It’s very interesting in Tapalpa - more fast cars, in addition, we are constantly rediscovering their potential by creating different power and weight specifications. In my opinion, the dominant cars there - Barracuda, Amc Rebel, many Dodge’s maybe some Ford - Random order. Landorgini proved for a long time that rwd is very fast even in dirt. I think that in the final the challenge and when we fight for 0.1 sec we will all meet in one car, what will it be like? Too early to confirm that. I wish you all in the new year less skidding, more grip and thus more clean laps
I decided to leave my time now. I suppose I’ll be back there, but the evening may turn out differently.
Because CRW has technical problems I decided to summarize our challenge with muscle cars and in the same way post a new one for 48h.

> Please remember a very important thing, everyone who takes the challenge to close it should post their result on the board. This is a very important element of the rules of these challenges.

The next challenge will be the first challenge of the New Year, just as for the manufacturer of these cars, the start of his career was racing victories. Let me tell you, I’m not talking about Ford or Ferrari. Their logo is associated with speed, great power and sports suspension. Their experience in producing super cars is one of the largest in the world, the company is based in Stuttgart and the founder’s name is Ferdinand. Do you already know what cars are about? yes - I’m talking about some of the best cars in the history of the automotive industry and their name is PORSCHE.
RWD drives with AWD and unlimited engines give us a lot of work and opportunities for fast and pleasant driving. Gentlemen, start your engines - we finish in 48h (pacific time monday 11pm, central europe time tuesday 8am)
Good luck
ok i found a spot with very little reccption so i must type quickly. The town i live in experienced a heavy downfall of rain and high winds which caused flooding and loss of power to alot of people, me included, so i was not able to finish this challenge. But to echo what @ChevyChase13 said and add to it, in order for this forum to work we must interact with each other, any kind of input is useful. use it to discuss tunes or issues with a certain track, anything is better than nothing, lets keep this going because we have only just begun. Start this new year by taking our skills and dominating those leaderboards. So far i think we have done really well only being the 5 of us. if we can get 5 prst members on the top 100 then why not go all the way. We need your times in order to have a list at the end of the times up. If the 11pm deadline is a issue it will be changed to a good compromise so please let me know your input.
