There are still 3 days left until the end of the challenge. Congrats to Tbar who has been leading from the beginning. I decided to prepare the cars all week, I reached lvl 50 in four Nissan Silvias, it turns out that I have some bug that causes all my Nissans to jump  I still have a Lexus 2015 and some other car, but that’s only tomorrow.

results for now

gangsta Nissan’s edition

Does anyone spend time setting up the car?

im slowly finding out how this points system works best to gain enough to use for the performance parts and be effective, its confusing and i find myself just playing the multiplayer races instead lol

You know how it is. You need to have Flow and time to look for settings and do tests. When you go to multi it’s nice and it’s fun to go with others. I also always feel like and have time to test the settings like we did in Fh5

Moreover, it is very irritating to check a car by leveling it. I have to leave my computer on for a few hours when I leave the house. When Greta Thunberg calls me, what should I tell her? That someone had to dig 1 ton of coal so that I could make 3 cars up to lvl 50? She may not be able to bear it.

Yes, I’m spending time on the performance/upgrade to improve the lap time, but not the tuning. I think u gotta have the upgrade before the tuning. I got the Lotus on the board. Its lower than the other entries but that’s because I use auto , M/MC have a slight advantage over auto (maybe more), so I’m looking to compare my times against others using (A)utomatics. I’m impressed with gAdam’s time with the RX-7 using auto, so I am now trying to get that car on the board (still working on it as of this post, I can’t beat my Lotus entry) I like the challenge, I may have to resort to someone else setup for that car. I take it that if there is no wrench symbol to the right of your entry, then u used your own setup, and its not shared. I understand why u may not want to share, LOL. If it does get shared, I look forward to seeing if a better time gets posted by someone using M/MC.

The settings work a little differently than what I’m used to. The fun is back in FM. In my opinion, there is a big difference in the gearbox (I have never been a fan of the automatic and if it weren’t for the tests, my opinion would not be objective) for me on a short track it is +/- 0.2 sec. Edward, a big automatic fan, also admitted that the manual one is faster. Mc gives you the option of changing gears using the clutch or not, I use the clutch only on straight sections and not always when cornering because the clutch likes to slip at the rear of the car. gAdam actually has a great time when it comes to automatic transmissions and Mazda. From what I’ve seen, he’s constantly improving it. Coming back to the settings, I haven’t managed to handle it as well as I would like in any car yet. It always ends with me having to get used to the settings, rather than making the settings to suit me. I’m so glad you joined us!

There should be a new challenge tomorrow night. I would like to ask you if you have any suggestions for the route? Following the order, we will make class S, i.e. the next one after A.

I really like this idea too, I’ll be there in about 4-5 hours, I’ll announce the results from class A and we’ll start a new weekly challenge

Or maybe we should call her - maybe she’ll take care of it?
Every time I’m forced to drive aimlessly in order to raise the level of the car I want to test, I wonder what carbon footprint I’m leaving behind.

For example, yesterday, Emira’s Lotus drove 300 laps at Eaglerock Speedway to reach lvl 50 - that’s +/- 1.6 hours.
This turned out to be pointless - I can’t build it to get anywhere near my current time in the challenge. Even more so in A/T.
This system is annoying!
Instead of taking part in competitions or rivals - we breed the car level.
Once we have the maximum level - after each race, the level points go to waste.

D@mn geniuses!

As Jockelzockt wrote: People will remember FM as afk farming simulator, what a great success.

@BreakevenElf387 - I will post Tune for Mazda RX-7 in the evening.
Its engine, even in A/T, revs to maximum speed, so switching to M/T didn’t change much in my case. I prefer to drive with A/T and listen to good music.

@ChevyChase13 As for the next challenge, my suggestion is Watkins Glen

ps. Maybe you know a better idea to raise the level?

Unfortunately, I don’t know any other way. I start a free race, usually Le Mans, and it goes on and on for two hours. Then it turns out that the car is not nice🤣. The idea of a car level is, to say the least, irritating. I hope that in higher classes, where cars have more things installed as standard, it will be possible to evaluate the car faster / without having to wait several hours. Thanks for the track suggestion, I’ll wait another 4 hours for other suggestions, and if there are the most of them, we’ll do this one. I have already prepared a silverstone challenge poster but it is not a determinant, I can always make another one in a few minutes. A little funny story: I have a Porsche that was already lvl 20 and I turned on Le Mans for 2 hours and then went to bed. I woke up after 4 hours and went to turn off the computer, it turned out that the Porsche hit the barrier on the 2nd lap and couldn’t leave, trying to do it for 4 hours, it increased by 1 lvl. Irritating

Hi All, I’m on the fence about using the auto driving assist. I have not used it since FM2! and no I did’nt start my Forza from there, I started with FM4, and while waiting for FM5, went back and did FM3 then FM2, also while waiting for next FHx to be released. At the time I was competing with friends on Forza Hub (In short a little app that gave users bonuses across all releases) and an accumulation of a score across all. They finally phased it out before FH5. Anyway I leveled up a few cars through Career mode. I don’t agree either with needing CP and Car Level to work on the many car they provide. I would like the option to buy CP/Driver Level with all my extra game/credits LOL . I think they went with it to try and control the amount of cars and tunes people can actually obtain in this game and there is probably a limit, we shall see LOL. In FH5 for the longest time I was annoyed at deleting cars from my garage because of the 1000 limit, and it was beyond my control to stop winning cars I already had or did’nt want. I even had to stack up all my free wheel spins. Then I hit some limit on tunes, everytime I wanted a new tune I got blocked by the limit and had to find a tune on other cars to delete. I had to apply a tune and then delete it, to avoid the issue. Anyway, yes I’m not happy to level up cars, so I’m picking them based on others good postings, and leveling up manually. This is probably the last FM game or going to be another long wait for next version, so I may have the time LOL. we will see, Sorry for the rant.

Lets have some fun. I suggest starting from the bottom with E class cars, not much of a grind to level them up to that. LOL (Only kidding, but would like to do these as well at some point)

Hello, I promise you that we will be in class E. We started making car classes in ascending order because you can always use a car with the collected lvl for a higher class. Thanks to this, we will collect cars ready for many classes (I hope). I’m not sure about even higher car classes (P, R). Unfortunately, I haven’t checked cars in higher classes yet, so it should be the S2 equivalent? Time will tell and we will always create new challenges on this forum based on other players’ suggestions. I suggest doing a survey the day before each next challenge? Vote? Most wins. I think that will be fair. Once we have purchased most of the cars (that is, in about 160 years), we can enter the Theme Cars mode. For example, only Ford, or Ferrari vs lambo, just like in the old style. For now, we need to get to know it and see what gives us a lot of fun and what we don’t like. In about 1.5 hours I will announce the results from class A and we will start a new challenge! Good luck
