A word from current F4H president - F4H Chrisupra
"Accept our Challenge: We as a team have won the TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans twice, in 2012 and 2013. Completing this challenge and finishing the race within 24 hours is challenging enough but when you pit yourself against the best in the Forza community it demands more from the group and the individual. So much time and effort goes into the preparation for these events and I feel as a unit, as a team, we prepare for the victory. For us, second place is the first loser. It has always been our approach to prepare for the win. Winning these races epitomises for me what it means to be in F4H. A balance between knowing your limits, honing your ability and approaching the task with the correct attitude - has led us to success. The team operates as one and these events, coupled with other successes, mean a great deal to the team. This challenge is our way of thanking you - the community - for making us the team we are. Without the level of competition and talent within, we could not be what we are. Trust that we will be trying our best to beat you and we trust you will do the same to beat us. This will be my last act as President of F4H. I have been the chief for 5 years now and I stand down this month and leave the team in the trusted hands of F4H Diablo (Tyler Jones) who deserves this title for all his hard work. I will remain in the team and assisting Tyler in driving the team forward to try achieve more future successes. I’d like to thank the team at Turn 10 for their patience and work with us to help promote this great team. Without them, none of this could be celebrated the way it has been. We are very thankful to Turn10 for their time commitment and understanding of our achievements. I hope that our story will spur on more great teams and competition within the community. We are 10 years old on the 11th of November. Thank you and good luck!"
You sure can’t. Still proud of my 17th place on Blue Mountains in A Class. Hope to see you take part on Monday. We’ve been putting down times for the community so we will have target times for you guys
It was discussed but we decided to go with TCS for the community, not just us. P Class is hard enough as it is for some people and no assists would have deterred them entirely. Even some of our guys ain’t comfortable in these to begin with. At least with TCS we will have that demographic attempting and us P Class lovers are indifferent and will do it with or without TCS.
I’m running it at the moment and its surprisingly easy without tcs, just getting used to the car at the moment and making little mistakes that are dirtying the lap,
We and the other leaders of F4H thought for a while about forcing the assists off for this challenge, but we went against that because we wanted people to achieve the very best time they could, so we left that choice up to the drivers. I started lapping without TCS, I was in the 27s. The car isn’t that difficult to drive without TCS, it’s just a matter of preference and driving style. For prototypes, I normally opt for TCS for the sake of consistency and less headache, it’s rather easy to decertify your lap on this track.
Yeah, looks like you can’t. So good luck spending 1.2 million CR on a car only to be able to have the incredibly slight chance to win back 100.000 CR if you beat the best five players. Currently only three people have done so and the time to beat is 3:27,672. Well, I’m happy with my 3:41,6xx, I have 32 million CR in the bank and this challenge at least gave me a chance to look back at Forza 5 and be once again wowed by its beauty. I’d say it’s still the best looking racer out there, no matter how many effects other games have.
Am i missing something or do i have to buy the car in game ( over a million credits ) which i would only use for this ?? . I cant see an option to use the car required just for this rival event without buying it first … anyones help ?
Wow. Most people who play Forza complain that there is nothing to spend credits on, and then when asked to shell out a fraction of their amassed credits, complain.
I look forward to trying this challenge. I’m not bothered if some want to use TCS, it’s up to them how they enjoy playing. Personally though, seeing as the car never had TCS in real life, I’ll drive without it, but that’s my choice.
