This topic explains how “Race” Credits are calculated and the best way to earn credits.
“base” credit - Each track have a “base” credit found with NO drivatar :
- Daytona (Tri-Oval): 1040 CR
- Homestead (Oval): 810 CR
- Indianapolis (Oval): 1300 CR
“laps” credit - The “base” credit is multiplied by the “laps” number and “rounded”: - Daytona (Tri-Oval) - 1 lap : 1 x 1040 = 1040 rounded to 1000 CR
- Daytona (Tri-Oval) - 2 laps : 2 x 1040 = 2080 rounded to 2100 CR
- Daytona (Tri-Oval) - 3 laps : 3 x 1040 = 3120 rounded to 3100 CR
“Race” credit - 3% of the “laps” credit is added by drivatars, but 6% is subtracted by lost position, and “rounded” : - Daytona (Tri-Oval) - 3 laps - 23 drivatars - 1st position : 3100 + ( 3100 x 3% x 23) - (3100 x 6% x 0) = 5239 rounded to 5200 CR
- Daytona (Tri-Oval) - 3 laps - 23 drivatars - 10th position : 3100 + ( 3100 x 3% x 23) - (3100 x 6% x 9) = 3565 rounded to 3600 CR
- Daytona (Tri-Oval) - 3 laps - 9 drivatars - 10th position : 3100 + ( 3100 x 3% x 9) - (3100 x 6% x 9) = 2263 rounded to 2300 CR
The “Race” Credit doesn’t depend on the “driving” mode, so you earn the same credits in “Very-Easy” or “veteran” modes.
So, the only way to earn more money is to go the fastest with maximum bonus (100% drivatars difficulty + 300% mod) and with “ghost” drivatars (to avoid collisions and overtaking)
But because of the 2 “rounded” steps of the “Race” credit calculation, the number of “laps” becomes important:
- Daytona (Tri-Oval) - 10 laps - 23 drivatars - 1st position : 17 000 CR → 1700 CR by laps
- Daytona (Tri-Oval) - 13 laps - 23 drivatars - 1st position : 24 000 CR → 1846 CR by laps
- Daytona (Tri-Oval) - 60 laps - 23 drivatars - 1st position : 100 000 CR → 1667 CR by laps
- Daytona (Tri-Oval) - 101 laps - 23 drivatars - 1st position : 190 000 CR → 1881 CR by laps
For Daytona (Tri-Oval) the better is to do 101 laps. With a good car, like the “Porsche Dunlop” speed maxed (X999), the 101 laps can be done in 57min for 190 000 CR (950 000 CR with maximum bonus that means 989 100 CR by hour).
But, the best way seems to be the Homestead (Oval) in 130 laps. With the “Porsche Dunlop” speed maxed (X999), the 130 laps can be done in 53min for 190 000 CR (950 000 CR with maximum bonus that means 1 071 400 CR by hour). But, it’s really hard to finish in 1st position in 100% drivatars difficulty if there is another Porsche.
Nota 1 : You can earn “Race” credits in “Very-Easy” driving mode, if you use the pad to help the auto-pilot in the corners. But, in “very-easy” driving mode, it’s impossible to have good mods.
Nota 2 : The Ferrari F50 GT speed maxed for Daytona (Tri-Oval) overtakes 100% drivatars difficulty.
