YES! The return of the DBS and 12C! I was really disappointed when these were mysteriously missing from launch and it’s great that they’re back. The 2012 Huayra is another great one, and the return of classics like the Dino and 280SL makes me very happy. The Koenigsegg CCX is an amazing car, and I’m really happy to see that return too.
Did anyone notice this? Apparently the game will be in Winter season for the whole month of S28. Which I guess makes the season names in the playlist useless.
Yeah, I think they lost me with the 9th one and the most recent one. I really enjoyed the first three, the next four were good to okay, but everything after Fast 7 has just gotten too ridiculous. Frankly, Fast 7 was pretty ridiculous too, but the brilliant Paul Walker tribute and the emotional value probably made that film seem a lot better than it actually was. The whole “turn your brain off when you enter the theater” thing doesn’t work for these movies anymore. They have become incoherent, over the top, generic action movies with some cool cars. The plots are so egregious and absurd that the movies are getting hard to watch.
You’re not missing much with these last three films. I was hesitant to even bother watching X after the incoherent mess that F9 was, but I watched it, albeit several months after release.
It’s a good car rota actually. I’m pretty pleased. I’m looking forward to all those Autoshow injections, the Morgan, the 280L, The Gordon Murray, that Fiat and I’d actually like another Clio from duh shop.
Other cars are the kind of cars that I don’t give a hoot about looking at them now but once I get into them, I’ll warm to them.
10 quid for 5 cars is a bit jarring. I like those Dodges but ten quid for 5 cars in the context of a game costing circa 90 quid which brings hundreds and hundreds of cars - well, it kinda rubs mine the wrong way a little bit. I might just keep my money for the next time.
