Yesterday I made my first shared livery, but I don’t know how can I show my tune, so it could look like on the second picture.
There is a guide for this on this forum. Can’t find it right now so I’ll explain it:
- Go to apply decals
- Press X, then Y. You remove a vinyl layer and insert it back again, making a ‘change’
- Save this ‘new’ design in a new slot. Name it however you want
- Load the ‘new’ design
- Remove and reinsert a layer again and save this ‘new’ design
- You’ll notice saving this design takes a bit longer. That’s because the game is now creating a new thumbnail with the body mods on it
- Upload this design to your Creation Hub
- Stonks
Thank you, I did it step by step but… I think I still did something wrong because the thumbnail still shows it without the the tune and body kit. It did save a bit longer but still no changes.
Edit: It works I just saved it in a new slot instead of just saving it, Thanks.
So many people post these complicated ways that may or may not work.
It’s actually quite simple and works every single time for me on a Series X.
Build/Upgrade your vehicle first without ever painting or adding vinyls to it. Once you complete your build/upgrades then paint or add vinyls to the vehicle. This is what I do and the upgrades show up in the thumbnail on my Creative Hub every time.
Hope this helps.
