Forza Horizon 5 Car List

They seem to be saving a lot of the new stuff for the Car Pass, which is a predictable move, but still one I don’t agree with.

I would absolutely love to see the 99 civic si coupe make a come back, I don’t think we’ve seen it since Motorsport 4 along with the Pontiac fiero gt and formula (notchback) model
I’m tired of seeing the same 4 Hondas in every new Forza even if I have to pay for a Honda/Pontiac car pack, how do we make it happen? Love to see the prelude making it into the game

I would love to see more regular cars in the game. Like skodas, new civics, ford explorers, toyota corollas, just cars in which you can drive around and relax. I rarely see people driving hypercars and other super expensive vehicles

Man, I’m tired of this request in particular.

Looking at the Forza Horizon 5 car list I noticed that cars like the VK, VL, VE and VS Commodore are not on the car list (They were in Horizon 4) and older Ford falcons like the XY, XB and XA. Will these cars be added later in the game?

Today update is only Forza Edition cars. Oh no… :frowning:

Where is cars from Italy. Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Fiat and Lancia?

For those new to Forza, Forza Edition models are upgraded models tuned by Forza’s engineers. Each model has an additional specific Boost factor to increase your Skills while driving the car.

Hello ManteeoMax,
thank you for sharing the Forza Edition cars. But I am maybe not the only person noticing that one Forza Edition car is missing in this list.
So I would like to ask you and the Playground games team:
Where did the AMG One (Project One) Forza Edition go?
It clearly was here to see for everything:
E3 Gameplay Press release anounces the AMG One Forza Edition (Youtube Video from XBox account with timestamp to the Forza Edition AMG One anouncement)

I really hope that it finds its way back to us. I love the livery and even more the idea t hat the Title car also be choosen for a Forza Edition.
I really hope it didnt get canceled.

It baffles me how Audi hasn’t been updated since 2016. They have so many good cars/SUVs since then.

It’s in the list at 3:57.

Yeah, it’s in the game. It’s odd though that they’d forget to add it to their list, but I’m sure they’ll get around to it. Crossing my fingers we get to use that cool livery in-game and the sound is different from the regular model. I’m gravitating more toward the engine growl we hear in the beginning and end of that E3 footage more than how it seems to sound.

This is disappointing. The car list is getting stale. The game desperately needs an infusion of new cars to the series. Current and classical models. concepts too. And many manufacturer models needs to be updated.

Audi has so many newer models, from SUVs to station wagons and coupés. but we’re still getting the same models from the early to mid '00s. Same situation with Volkswagen. Where is the new Golf? Why not introduced the VW XL Sport? Or the Arteon R? Or VW W12?

Another example is Maserati, we are still stuck with the 2010 Maserati GT? Same model since FH1, even though we know there is a difinitive version in the 2020 final edition? Maserati in general needs more love, where is the Alfieri and the upcoming MC20? give us more historic models from the past too.

And no Lexus LC really!? The car was introduced in 2017, but it’s still a no show in FH  also the Toyota Land Cruiser is Huge in the MENA region. Introducing it to the game would make a lot of people happy.

I could go on and on but I’ve made my point. Still love FH, that will never change.

18 Brand New cars is super weak guys… the whole carlist feels like its stuck in Horizon 3 … You guys really need to give us more newer cars… and by god dont lock every new and recyceled car behind the grindy Festival playlist… do it with some cars to keep them unique… give us classic carpacks like in fh3 which can be bought (they should be available for everyone in the autoshow)

I am super dissapointed

I completely agree with this. The car list is so underwhelming, and not just because a part of it has recycled cars no one will probably use, simply because the list is full of extreme versions of cars which are already built to stick to the road.

Where are the days when we could stick a 2ZZ-GE in a 2nd gen Yaris and build it as a budget track car?

Seems like the they’d rather put in 4 versions of a chicken suit than actually give us some budget cars we can build up to be fun.

Don’t get me wrong. The map, graphics and sound are huge improvements over FH4, which in my opinion was one of the most boring FH experiences I’ve ever had. However, the car list just feels dated by a long margin now. At least we have some new customization options now.

X5 M FE is also missing

There’s also a 1970 GMC jimmy

Still no sign of Abarth and Alfa Romeo?

I can understand the lack of Abarth since there used to be 2 or 3 models in the previous games but Alfa Romeo is way too important to be forgotten.

Am I missing something? How and Why do they showcase the stratos as a car that has a updated “real” sound and then somehow don’t have the car (Brand in general) in the game??? Why are they not communicating why this happen? I would obviously sell be sad, but it would be nice of them to tell us about cutting cars from the game… really hate the not existing communication with the loyal community.

Cars get cut with every game and there are probably many reasons. Cars have been seen in preview builds and marketing media that never appeared in the final game. It’s just part of the industry. Most likely, the Stratos either wasn’t finished in time for the game, it’s being saved for the playlist at a later date or something happened with the licensing.

They can’t be expected to give a reason behind every car that gets cut from the game and as far as communication they are a lot more open about things than a lot of other major game developers.
