Forza Horizon 5 Car List

I’m very disappointed with this list, and I hope they put in several new Audi’s (the S3 sedan they have in FM7… and in the Forza edition commander video an e-tron was seen…), several Nissan’s are missing, Toyotas are missing, and most of all, BMW is missing.

Obviously, my wish list is missing Cupra, specifically their e-Dakar and Formentor models, but looking at this list… I have my hopes on the ground.

Is the VUHL a Mexican car?

Still disappointed. So many outdated models. I don’t really get it. This is THE racing title of the year 2021 and we’re getting, for example, a 2016 R8 instead of the new one. Or a totally outdated Golf R. I’m not sure about my 100 € preorder.

I really hope they will add more brands and most important: Current models.

There’s several models missing from each brand which i hope will be added in the coming weeks.

Yeah where is the Dodge: Super Bee '70, W023 Coronet, '68 Dart Super Sport, '71 Plymouth GTX, Roadrunner '70, Barracuda '66, '70 Superbird

its like this with every forza, you get hundreds of previous cars come back and a few dozen new ones. its the driving mechanics that i am the most curious about.

Everyone knows of the Mexican contribution to the automotive scene: lowriders. Not actually in the territory of Mexico, but started by ethnic Mexicans nonetheless.

So it amuses me to see Playground not bothering to add more classic 50s and 60s American cars at launch. I mean large stuff like Galaxies, LTDs, Continentals, this sort of thing. And what they do have, they remove: Plymouth Fury the most obvious example, but there’s cars in FM7 like Dodge Coronet, Ford Fairlane, that could’ve been there as well. AMC had a local operation in Mexico, but their only car in the game is the Gremlin.

It’s useless to make the environment feel like Mexico when the car culture portrayed in the game, which is supposed to be the main aspect of it, does not. Right now, it’s looking like a game made by a bunch of British tourists, really.

If you’re referring to the cars missing from the car collection screen, “Just hover over it and you can buy what you’re missing” heavily implies that the cars they show in there are autoshow only cars. Car collection may just be for cars in the autoshow, which leaves out all of the barn finds, progression rewards, and wheelspin only cars.

I don’t know if what I’m saying is true or not. The true test will be when they release the VW car list. If the classic Beetle isn’t on the list, I’m right, because who know it’s a progression reward. Mind you they could try to be clever and put it on the list just to trip us up, since they know they revealed that on stream. Either way, it’s possible that the Fury is still in the game.

The Lotus car list looks like a store after it has been looted. Too much has been lost.
But on the other hand we are given almost all variants of 458, 488, Aventador, Huracan, 991, 992.

Yes, I know these cars are more popular with the masses than the Lotus and other of our favorites, and the Ferrari 458 with the added stripes and body kit will be in higher demand than the Lotus 340R.
But I can’t help but feel a sense of emptiness that so many unique models from other brands are being deleted while variants of these models remain almost perfect.

Yes, this is the whining of a minority. I will get 340R on my playlist a few months after the launch of this game, and then I will pay someone 20 million cr on the AH to get another 340R, my favorite…

What a CRAP list off cars, do you guys not listen to the people that play it, or just be like, we’ll stick a whole bunch of supercars and other crap that people won’t drive and be like yeah they will love these… and take away the cars that we actually wanted. Plus supercars dont belong in Mexico, wheres all hatches and normal cars at that normal people drive, it’s a street racing game not forza motorsport 7, which is where the supercars belong. I think iv just wasted my money buying this. so disappointing, The only good thing is the map. Need to at more Holdens, re-do the ford list and put ones people want, and more 80s, 90s and 2000s jdm cars, and less supercars…

I reckon you guys are going to lose a lot of respect and players if you keep adding crap cars.

you uh…do realize that this is not the full, final car list, right

Aren’t lowriders more of a Southern Californian thing? I mean, yes, they’re big with Latino culture, but I’m not sure its that big of a thing in Mexico as it is Southern California.

I don’t think they ask for much either. We ask for normal cars from there, which is a fairly heterogeneous and varied market, it is not very difficult. The supercars will always be there, but we want normal cars that represent the site, as they did (although also based on updates and DLC) with the FH4, which in the end has been a rather curious collection of cars.

But in the end we always have the same cars as always, with 4 new cars, and they don’t even update the existing ones with a restyling, even if it’s just to make it look different. Because having a 2015 Cayman GTS and a 2018 718 Cayman GTS seems redundant to me, or a 2015 Macan Turbo and a 2019 Macan Turbo; just like the thousand Ford Mustang variants out there. If they put one or two models per generation (the most relevant, the most characteristic) it would be enough, even changing those cars in each game to give a little variety.

VAGs are missing (hello Jetta, Beetle, new Beetle and Beetle 2014), BMW is missing (several models are manufactured there and have good acceptance), and other brands that should appear are missing. And there is a lack of new cars (a LOT), electric, combustion, there is a lack of new cars.

Just to name a few:

Golf MK8 GTI or R.
Jettas (any generation).
Beetle (the original and its neo-retro derivatives).
ID.4 GTX.
Suzuki Swift Sport.
Mazda 3 Turbo.
GMC HummerEV.
Rivian R1T and R1S.
Ford Mustang Match-E.
Ford Bronco Sport (also made in Mexico).
Audi S3 2015 (car already in FM6 and FM7 that does not appear in the game).
Audi RSQ8
Audi RS7/RS6
Audi e-Tron (this one appears in the video of the Forza edition controller).
Audi e-Tron GT.
BMW (new M4, although in view of the fact that it does not appear, I’m satisfied if they leave the ones that were there, which were many).
Mercedes (A45S, G65 AMG new model, EQS 65S, etc).
Volvo (XC90 appearing in FM7 and Polestar 1 and 2).
Chevrolet Spark, Corsa B. And there will be many more that I don’t even know about Chevrolet.
Nissan Tsuru, Versa, Sentra (this is the old Nismo, I don’t know if it will appear in the list, but if it appeared in FH4 that hit like a christ two pistols, I say it will appear in this one).
Renualt. It would be cool the Sandero RS that is sold in LATAM, for example.

It will be for new cars that are sold or manufactured there or at least appear in the continent where the game is set. But taking the Lotus Cortina, an eminently British model, makes no sense, as I have read around, the current list looks as if British tourists have taken their cars to Mexico.

That the Mercedes-Benz X-Class, a pick-up that was only sold in Europe, appears in the traffic is very :dale2:. Hell, put in the Ranger, even if it is sold there and they have it modeled. Then the rest of the traffic is very bland, the Galant, Transit, F150, Silverado, Fiesta and ya. They have the Chevy Spark from FM4, they could have put it in traffic too, for example.

And even if there are months left, there are not many “gaps” left to complete the final list, as they say, at most, 50-60 more cars.

I hope they have at least modeled the old models from 0 and they don’t look so bad compared to the latest additions, you can notice the obvious lack of modeling in the re-re-repeated models in the different Forza games.

Still hoping to see some new cars added over the coming weeks like a 2016-2018 BMW M3, 2020 RS5/RS6, Aventador SVJ just to name a few, but what I would like to see over all is in the next horizon game if you’re going to use the same cars at least try and get a majority of them as their new looking models or better yet get them both, but it’s still early days and there’s plenty of time to show more cars and massively improve on FH4’s car list

YES! Urus!, my fav car:)

Let’s look for my favorites:
AMC Gremlin, Audi TTS and TTRS, Dodge Durango, Charger Hellcat and Challenger Hellcat, Jeep Wrangler JK, 2003 VW R32, 2010 VW Golf R, a few Lambos. Yep, all there. Those are all I need and quite honestly are the only ones I use on a regular basis.

since the car list basically stayed the same i would hope they at least updated the older cars models that didn’t look right and some more complete forzavista too

Im missing Mazda and Shelby (the Original, aka Cobra and Daytona) in the carlist.
I really really hope that we will have them in FH5… Because these brands own 2 cars i actually have and which one of them is my favorite car of all time.

If not i will delay my buy until the Shelby cars are implemented. And this is breaking my heart, for all what i have seen so far.

Im also a bit dissapointed that the Porsche Turbo (aka 993 build from 1993-1998) is not included.

I’m worried about Mazda, we still haven’t seen one…
I hope Gran Turismo is not going to do the same dirty deal that they did with Toyota for GT7, because the Mazda RX vision is on the Cover of GT7

Can someone explain to me why Turn 10/Playground Games haven’t replaced the Infiniti Q60 concept with the production Q60 Red Sport yet? Is it that difficult to ask Nissan/Infiniti to license one of those? If they’re okay with letting you license the concept, why wouldn’t you just ask them to allow you to replace it with a production model.
