We don’t know if they don’t have some form of custom music player but I doubt they do at this rate
I think they would have mentioned it at this point sadly.
Seeing the info about Horizon 4, not having Spotify makes sense. Unlike in Horizon 3, we’re NOT in charge of the Horizon festival or the music. We’ll be LIVING at the festival and working our way to the top to become the best. Also, I don’t think we’ll be getting OneDrive support, as well.
I just hope they don’t ignore us rock and metal fans again.

I pretty much play with the radio off. Partly because I want to hear the engines and other sounds, but mostly because I can’t stand any of the stations. Is it too much to ask for some actual ROCK??? And how epic would it be to get a station with Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Def Leppard, Motorhead, Saxon??? \m/

I can’t wait to see what the soundtrack of the new game looks like. The music of the Horizon games are one of the best parts! I like how they make an attempt to make the stations region appropriate to the games.

I did like the classical music DJ on FM3, being a bit confused and nonplussed by the Horizon stuff he had to announce

I hope Timeless FM returns; not only was it fun chillout/dramatic music but it should all theoretically be in the Public Domain, which means we won’t get hit with ContentID strikes when we share gameplay to YouTube 
One of the E3 interviews revealed the fact that the “classic stations” are very popular in Forza Horizon titles so I think there’s a good chance we’ll get one in Forza Horizon 4.

I hope they put some effort into the classical station this time.
For FH3 it felt like they just typed “classical songs everyone has heard a billion times before and are bored of” into Google Bing and gave us the top of the list. Probably the least inspired radio station I’ve ever heard in a game.
