Top Gear reference for the Jensen Interceptor

Clue 4: The clue thread clues are the closest thing to randomness you will ever find.
The Plymouth GTX 426 because it looks like a random mash of letters and numbers together. And l really want that car.

Clue 5: No matter what you think of it, it is still a star!
I get the feeling this one is the Mclaren Mercedes SLR. Mclaren? Yes. But it also has the (Benz) star.

Clue 6: There weren’t a lot of gizmos back in the day but you could still easily get cut off.

Clue 7: Somewhat of a diamond in the rough.
Mitsubisi Eclipse GSX since they have a diamond logo

I know that people are saying clue 5 is Chevy Vega and I’m probably wrong but could it be the Mclaren SLR since star for Mercedes but that is kind of random guess

Tough clues. I’m really hoping for the 1971 Plymouth GTX426 Hemi at some point. I know it’s there. I just don’t know when it’s coming. lol

So I checked, and the one Warren name drops is the P1, which was technically Fuji Heavy Industries, but which would become Subaru. So I guess I’ll go with that, the Fuji Subaru 1500 P1.

I don’t even…Is this a clue? Ah, wait. “Randomness” is an anagram for “Norm’s Sedan”. Unfortunately, I don’t know if we ever saw Norm’s car on Cheers. His buddy Cliff drove a '64 Biscayne though, so clearly that’s it. (Not really. It’s a wagon. Someone come up with something else.)

Chevy Vega, for being the alternate name of Alpha Lyrae. Then again, Polaris is also the name of a star…

  1. '57 Ford Thunderbird supercharged (Pokémon Go! reference)

  2. 1971 Ford Maverick Grabber (that was my first car, and a highly unlikely candidate)

  3. Jensen Interceptor (Top Gear reference)

  4. '55 Chevy Nomad (a '53 Chevy was driven by “The Motorist” in Clue, and “randomness” has the letters to anagram "Nomad"the '55 was the first year Chevy produced the car, which was in turn inspired by a '53 concept car. I know, that’s really reaching…)

  5. Chevy Vega (Vega is a star, & the car is one of the worst small cars Chevy ever made)

  6. AMC Gremlin X (Cut-off hatchback, and Gremlins movie reference)

  7. Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-X (Diamond logo, a hard-used example would wind up quite rough)
