Hello all! First and Foremost, let me apologize for making a “new” post about an “old” game!!
I’ve just started playing the Forza series of games, and Forza Horizon 2 is my “entry” into the franchise.
Having said that, I LOVE the game, and will likely be purchasing a few more of the Forza series.
For now, I have a question about using “My Designs” in FH2 that I simply can’t figure out. With all the veteran players of FH2 out there, I am sincerely hoping someone will share their knowledge with this “newbie” regarding the use of “My Designs” within Horizon 2.
I simply can’t believe there’s not more flexibility in accessing saved designs, and I feel I must be doing something wrong that makes this so difficult.
I have quickly found out that I love liveries as much as I like actually driving and racing! With that said, I’ll never be able to design myself, but I have found SEVERAL awesome creators, and have been downloading several designs. Many times I’ll have even 5 or more designs of one car!
With that said, I was hoping for an EASY way to swap out a design of the car I’m currently using. Unfortunately, I have NOT found an EASY way, and I hope I’m just not going to the right place, and someone will be able to give me some much desired guidance.
What I have noticed about “My Designs” is that they are stored “sequentially” as you save them. They are not “grouped” in any specific way, and there is not a way I’ve seen to sort in “My Designs”.
For example, let’s say I have 5 designs of a Corvette, but I’ve saved them at various times. They are “scattered” around “My Designs” because they’ve been stored by the date I “saved” them.
Let’s say I go to “My Garage”, and I jump in said Corvette, and I want to change the current design to one of the other 4 I’ve saved. Where do I go from here???
I go to “My Garage”, choose “Designs and Paints”, and choose “My Designs”. Is there NO WAY to show ONLY saved designs for the car you’re in?? It shows ALL “My Designs”, and there’s also no way to sort!? I have to hunt and peck for the 4 other designs I have saved for this Corvette, and I have no idea of where in the list of “My Designs” they are because they are only listed in the order I saved them!
I’d like to see ONLY the designs for the particular car I’m in, or at the very least be able to sort so I can easily find the car I’m in, and see the other designs I have available for it.
Surely I must be doing something wrong?? Can someone please help me?
If this is truly the only way to “swap” designs on the car your currently driving, then Forza dropped the ball on this one.
Maybe I’m the only one that likes to swap various designs of cars?
Maybe everyone picks one design for a car, and are happy with it, and never even go into “My Designs”?
Does anyone else save multiple designs of cars, and swap out periodically? How do you do it??
Again, sorry for asking about a game that most people probably don’t play anymore, but I’m going nuts trying to figure this out.
