It’s a dull practice and kind of got old a long time ago.
There are two reasons for this I can think of and I am sure there are many more.
- Economies of scale. The games that redo cars for every game always have short lists. We get the luxury of hundreds of cars because the costs (including modelling and licensing costs) are spread over multiple games.
- If you are on to a good thing stick to it. Remove some of these cars and people will complain they are gone.
I am disappointed that one car is gone. I won’t turn this into a wishlist but they have included a few models of a certain car but the one I can see missing is the one I use most in FM5 lol. Just hope it comes in the remaining reveals.
Actually just on the remaining reveals there may be good news in there so maybe we should wait and see before forming any final judgments.

Hey guys, I remember for the first Horizon they said the cars were not simply copied and pasted from FM4 because of how the lighting affects the cars. Remember the game has day to night transitions. This is just one reason, but I’m sure there are others. I’m pleased we will have over 200 before DLC.

They can give you whatever reason they want that they’re not going to include X cars or that the game only has X amount, the reason it always boils down to is time and effort.

are you guys that are saying 210-215 counting the preorder cars as well? Cuz there’s like 6 or 7 of them so far. Plus im sure there will be limited edition ones. After hearing all these cars are from forza 5 im glad i didn’t play it now.

Yep definitely going to enjoy the game and my classics. Needs more Cosworth Motors and Boxer Motors.
This looks great so far but they should add some more trucks to the game besides the raptor.
I’m really hoping for an expanded Ferrari list. Can’t go cruising the Italian countryside without my Dino.

They need to be convertibles like on Test Drive Unlimited. Loved cruising around in the Ferrari’s.

I’m gonna buy this game for the Jeep and Micro bus alone, if it keeps the same engine conversion system as FM5, a K20 micro bus sounds amazing.
Well… Was expected. I guess holding off the season pass in FM5 worked out this year, since it cost as much as a new game, and I’ll get to race those cars + many more in Horizon 2 for the same price! 
So now I honestly don’t care about any other cars since they added the Alpine A110.

So funny, people complain about cars from previous games being in newer games…
What the heck are they supposed to do! they can only add so many cars that aren’t in the previous games, yet then you cry about them not having a specific car and then it makes the game useless… calm your nerves children.
I wish Forza would release stats about players “play habits” the likeness that your driving more then about 5 cars regularly is HIGHLY unlikely. so to complain about the game not having X amount of cars is redundant.
The list isnt even complete either haha.
I’m actually excited for this release, it cant be worse then the first horizon which i enjoyed alot.
Forza Motorsport 5 comes out, a load of people say “WOW! They just removed over half the cars we already had” and then DLC starts coming out, and they say “WOW! They just added the cars we already had”
What is it you people want.

The list is okay. I am glad the RS5 made it in but where are all of the MODERN convertibles?

Me too. Not really impressed by the car list so far.
The previous Horizon didn’t have an exciting car list either. You’d think a game like Horizon would have more “street” cars than exotics and super cars, ya know, a heavier focus on classics and cars that people often tend to modify heavily.
