Boy these guys are good. So have my ridiculous VIP mods. Used them once on a long race.
Just ran a short race and didn’t even look at the mods during set-up. Turns out they’re still installed! So now I’ve completely wasted three uses.
This game stinks.
You install them, you remove them. The game can’t do it for you.
User error I’m afraid.

I love the fact that the mods stay installed. I would hate to have to go in there and add them back in every time, especially if there’s some I’m using for a couple races in a row. The fact that they stayed there and you didn’t see them is totally on you. It’s quite obvious from the pre-race screen that they’re displayed.
