I wonder why Ford never used the road-going mk2 RS2000’s nose cone in racing or rallying, as it should be more aerodynamic. Perhaps too heavy, or not enough cooling? Also, might get in the way of extra lamps for nighttime rallies, but there were specific builds for safari, road, ice & snow etc.
